there is a switch in the back cargo area usually the right (driver) side remove the plastic panel and you will see a trigger switch with on and off positions which controls the air suspension

If you have a problem with it you might need to replace the compressor there is a really good company that sells Harley Davidson stuff (Arnott Corp - best agent there is Morris), but they also sell that compressor for the least expensive price around $170 through Amazon. com and it is an easy install.

You would have to pull courtesy light fuse, if they are to be open for extended period for repairs, just disconnect batt

Try a different DVD if you are having trouble playing one. If you find that the problem exists with multiple DVDs then you will need to purchase a new system.

On my 1991 Toyota Camry the fuse box is located on the drivers side up inside where the brake panel is. You have to get right down on the ground to look inside and up to find it. I'm missing the panel that covers it and tells you which fuses go where, if you find it, I'd really like to know the diagram of the fuse box. Thanks and good luck!

No it's a good SUV very stylish and best ride out there as far as luxury and hanling.

My suggestion is to get rid of the air suspension altogether. For under 300 dollars in parts you can change over to springs. If you can not change them yourself you may be looking at another 200-300 dollars in labor costs. These springs are called a conversion kit. Once they are installed you never have to worry about the air suspension system again. If you choose to stick with the air springs you will only be wasting your money. You may fix one part of the system and months later you may have to fix another part of the system and months after that you may end up fixing the first problem over again. Not to mention each time you fix any part of it, it may cost you upwards of 1200 dollars. Trust me I've already been down that road.

You can call Strutmasters and they will be able to help you! I bought a conversion kit for my moms Navigator and she loves it. It was under half the amount that I would be paying for the air and the now we don't have to worry about the air at all. Check them out!

you have to the base cover off first. the speaker it self is screwed in to the sub woofer box. it will take about 30 minutes to take it apart it

right in back of the intake by the fire wall. Hard to see and replace. Not recommended to DIY ...

I have a 1998 navigator. I had this issue several times. If one of the air shocks develops a leak, or one of the air lines, it can be very expensive to troubleshoot. The Lincoln uses a dry air pump, so if you have a leak, the pump is most likely burned up and will have to be changed also. Each time my pump had to be replaced, it costs $700-$1000 to have it changed. After doing this four times, I decided to change the system to a conventional hydraulic system. The ride is a little stiffer, but I'll never have that low-rider air shock problem again. I installed the conversion myself in one afternoon, with simple shop tools. You will need a good floor jack. The keypad code is usually on a plastic card in the owners manual, or located near the top right hinge on the tail gate when open. It will be on a with adhesive tag. Normally 5 digits. Hope this helps

The relay is behind the right headlamp area or at least it was on our 2001. Our check suspension light came on and then the rear end completely deflated at about 150,000 miles. We replaced the relay and it aired back up. We replaced the compressor first but it was the relay all along that was causing the problem.

Instead of replacing all of the air on the vehicle, you should consider putting a passive, non air system in. That way you don't have to worry about all of those air products. Clearly when one of the air components fails they all seem to follow. It's a great fix to a big problem. I went to Strutmasters.com for my suspension problems :)

If the check suspension light is staying on in a 2000 Navigator, it is probably because some part of the suspension is malfunctioning. This could be that the shocks need to be replaced or a ball joint is bad. Either way, it is a dangerous situation.

Likely your system has a leak and the compressor can't keep up with the volume of the leak.

Agree. The air bags in the suspension of ours had developed small holes, and the compressor could not keep up. Get that fixed before the compressor burns out.

how you find a air suspension relay in a Lincoln navigator

Yes...I used to hear my '95 town car's suspension pump come on and off at odd times while the car was parked.
