The tick boxes in iTunes indicate which songs you want to be available. If a song is not ticked it will be ignored when playing a random selection or uploading to an iPod etc,

Checking email will depend upon the email service/ISP with whom you have an account. Most email hosts provide some form of Web Mail which will allow you to access your email in a web browser using your account's name and password.

If you are sure there is no other connection (they are often concealed under a flap) then the audio and video out are probably providing an analogue signal for play back on a TV. You will need a video capture digitiser (See links below for example but there are many available) that converts the signals into a digital form and passes these to the computer.

It would be the computer that would generate the text - not the USB drive. You would need to write a piece of machine code program that detects when a device is plugged-in or removed from the USB socket.

NO cuz Macs are much more expensive cause of OSX and the trademark Apple. A Windows pc is cheaper for better specs.

I don't know that they made a Bluetooth card for the early computers? You should be able to use a USB Bluetooth "dongle" that plugs into the computer but you may need company specific drivers for it to work. I believe 10.5 does have Bluethooth support built in so you should be able to just plug it in and the OS "sees" it.

MacDraw Pro does not work on new apple computers. It appears to work only up to OS 9.0.2, maybe 9.0.4. Definitely does not work on OS9.2.2 or OSX.

1. Gently wipe the disc with a lint-free cotton cloth. Never use paper or any material that may scratch the disc or leave streaks.

Start installation over and press the accept button.

Click on the Mail icon in the Dock, hold the mouse button down for a moment and a menu will pop up. Select the Option Open at Login (so that it is not ticked) and Mail will no longer open when you start using the computer.

The desktop picture is controlled in the System Preferences pane.

Open System Preferences.

Click 'Desktop and Screen Saver'

Click the 'Desktop' tab

Select or drag a new picture to the image of the desktop.

It is possible to create a new folder for your desktop pictures there. In the left pane click the + sign, select or create a new folder at a location of your choosing. Copy your favorite desktop pictures into that folder using the Finder.

Later when you open Desktop and Screen Saver/Desktop you will see your folder and when you click on it you will see all the pictures it contains. Click on the one you want.

If you use multiple screens, you can drag the Desktop and Screen Saver window to another desktop and change its picture too. You don't need to close and reopen Desktop and Screen Saver pane each time.
