What do you plug your Ethernet in to get internet connection?

The Ethernet port is usually the largest socket on the computer (about twice the height of the others). You run your Ethernet cable from the computers Ethernet socket to a similar socket on a device called a Router. The Router is connected to your telephone line or cable TV or however you have chosen to connect to the Internet. You will need to have set up an account and pay for the Internet connection with an Internet Service Provider (ISP) who is often your telephone or cable TV supplier. The ISP will often include the Router as part of the connection package. Computers (particularly laptops) will usually have built-in wireless connectivity, for example all recent Macs come with AirPort, which will connect to a wireless router without the need for a an Ethernet cable. A sansa mp3 2 gigabyte player holds how many songs?

It depends on the quality of the recording setting and the length of the song. But, a better answer that gives you a rough idea is that a 2GB mp3 player will hold 68 hours of music, or approximately 1,300 songs at 3 minutes a song.

I like to say instead 1000 songs on a 2GB player since some will run longer, some way longer. That translates to 2000 songs on a 4GB player, 500 on a 1GB player, and 250 on a 512MB one. But read your manual, new technology will lead to eventual changes in storage methods and volume. Well, after personal real world experience and research, I have to say that separate songs generally take about 5 megabytes, with part of the memory probably taken up with spacing and digital cataloging. So, unfortunately, that will lower the the amount of individual songs to somewhere around 500.

Why did apple store call it apple?

The apple logo is to commemorate a man who invented a machine that translated what the Germans were saying during the second world war, however this man turned out to be homosexual. Homosexuality was not approved of in them days therefore the police through him and his lover onto the street and allowed people to violently attack them. The inventor was later taken to court were the decision was made that he would either be put in prison (where he would be murdered by other prisoners for being gay) or take hormone tablets that would give him woman features etc.. He's favorite book was snow white therefore he took a ruby red apple poisoned it and took a bite. He decided that he would rather die in a peaceful way than be murdered or be something he didn't want to be.

Apple saw him as a brilliant inventor and because of that and his bravery used the name 'Apple' and their logo is a bitten apple.

Differences between a pdf document and a word document?

Most of you are familiar with word processors and the files they use. How are these files different from Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) files?
Word processors give you complete editorial freedom. You can change the text in any way you like, and, with some significant limitations, also change its appearance in any way you like. You can't, in general, do this with Adobe Acrobat (at least not with the free Reader). However, the Adobe Acrobat format does a much better job of preserving the original appearance of the document, and will do so over nearly any platform. The word processing files found on this site were all created in WordPerfect, so you will (hopefully) be able to match the document I created - if you have WordPerfect for Windows; if you have the same font I used to create the documents, and if (less important) you have the same printer. Otherwise, you may have to spend some or a lot of time reformatting the document (for example, if you have MS Word instead of WordPerfect). And if you don't have one of the major word processors (meaning WordPerfect, MS Word, or Lotus WordPro), you may not be able to reformat it satisfactorily at all. None of this is a problem with PDF files: the file will look exactly as it was created, on nearly any computer. So, in short, pdf files preserve perfectly the "look and feel" of the document on any platform, but they generally don't allow the document to be modified.

How do you get my SSID?

Well... There is a way I know how to find your ssid (name of your network). Ahhh yes. Just to tell you if you have a router then you won't have a ssid your router will have it. If you don't havea ssid then your computer will have it. I will first tell youhow to find out what it is when you HAVE a router.

Log onto your router and somewhere around there it will show the name. Usaley it is at the little blue bar at the top. If it is not there keep on searching. if you don't find it look for your routers ip address. when you find it type it in the address bar of your search engine eg. http://16.1.451.24. Then it will take you to your routers login. login to it and somewhere around there it will show the ssid and WEP or WMA code.

Then if you have NO router then I CAN'T HELP YOU. Beacause everyone knows that when you DON'T have a router you DON'T have a SSID! So get lst, just kidding, by by...... no searisley... get lost!! :)
