Where is spermatozoa manufactured?

"Spermatogenesis is the process by which male spermatogonia develop into mature spermatozoa. Spermatozoa are the mature male gametes in many sexually reproducing organisms. Thus, spermatogenesis is the male version of gametogenesis. In mammals it occurs in the male testes and epididymis in a stepwise fashion, and for humans takes approximately 64 days.[1] Spermatogenesis is highly dependent upon optimal conditions for the process to occur correctly, and is essential for sexual reproduction. It starts at puberty and usually continues uninterrupted until death, although a slight decrease can be discerned in the quantity of produced sperm with increase in age. The entire process can be broken up into several distinct stages, each corresponding to a particular type of cell:

Cell type | ploidy/chromosomes | chromatids | Process

spermatogonium (types Ad, Ap and B) | diploid/46 | 2N | spermatocytogenesis (mitosis)

primary spermatocyte | diploid/46 | 4N | spermatidogenesis (meiosis 1)

secondary spermatocyte | haploid/23 | 2N | spermatidogenesis (meiosis 2)

spermatid | haploid/23 | 1N | spermiogenesis

sperm | haploid/23 | 1N | spermiation"

What is the isosphere?

The isosphere is a hypothetical shell in space surrounding a planet or star, within which electromagnetic signals travel at the speed of light. It is used in theoretical discussions about communication in space and how signals propagate through different media.

What can you buy by linear meter?

Items that are commonly sold by the linear meter include fabrics, ropes, cables, and some types of trimmings such as ribbons or elastic bands. When purchasing items by the linear meter, you typically pay for the length you need, rather than being pre-packaged in specific amounts.

Can you use metal primer on wood?

It is generally not recommended to use metal primer on wood because metal primers are formulated to adhere and protect metal surfaces, which may not provide the best adhesion or protection for wood surfaces. It is better to use a primer specifically designed for wood to ensure proper adhesion and protection.

Is cotton UV resistant?

Cotton is not inherently UV resistant, as it allows some UV rays to penetrate through its fibers. However, tightly woven or treated cotton fabrics can offer some level of UV protection. It is always recommended to wear sunscreen and use other protective measures when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods.

Is composite metal?

Some composites might contain metal (e.g. steel wires like used in tires), but no composites are not metals. A few typical composites are:

  • fiberglass & epoxy resin
  • carbon fiber & epoxy resin
  • carbon-carbon (a very high temperature composite made by baking carbon fiber & epoxy resin until the epoxy resin carbonizes)
  • etc.

Why ferritic and austenitic stainless steel are not heat treatable?

Ferritic and austenitic stainless steels are not heat treatable since "heat

treatable" is taken to mean that martensite may be made to form with relative ease upon

quenching austenite from an elevated temperature.

For ferritic stainless steels, austenite does not form upon heating, and, therefore, the

austenite-to-martensite transformation is not possible.

For austenitic stainless steels, the austenite phase field extends to such low temperatures

that the martensitic transformation does not occur.

How is coke manufactured by otto-Hoffman process?

In the Otto-Hoffman process, coke is manufactured by heating coal in a series of ovens at high temperatures in the absence of air to drive off volatile components, leaving behind the carbon-rich coke. During this process, the coal is converted into a porous, hard substance that is used as a fuel and reducing agent in various industrial processes, especially in steelmaking. The Otto-Hoffman process ensures a controlled and efficient conversion of coal into coke, which is an important raw material in many industries.

What is sisalation?

It is a registered trademark sourced from the name of manufactured insulation material made by lamination of various thickness grades of aluminium foil (US/AE, aluminum) with layers of other material(s) such as kraft paper, woven polypropylene substrate, retardant adhesive, or fibreglass (US/AE, fiberglass). The thickness(es) and grades (light to heavy) of the finished products vary depending on intended use (e.g., for insulation, coating, wall wrap, and radiant barriers used for glare reduction), as well as the types, quantities, and thickness of materials incorporated into the finished product. Due to chemical reactivity of aluminium, the product is not alkali-tolerant. Manufacturer and general information may be available from link(s) included for the Sources and related links in the lower left hand section of this column.

Is stainless steel a polymer?

No, stainless steel is not a polymer. It is a type of metal alloy composed of iron and a combination of other elements such as chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. Polymers are large molecules composed of repeating structural units known as monomers.

Is georgette a natural or synthetic fiber?

Georgette is a synthetic fiber made from polyester or a blend of polyester and rayon. It is known for its lightweight and slightly crinkled texture, making it a popular choice for clothing such as dresses and blouses.

Why do some Stuhrling watches have 39 days on their date dial?

What is the rusting properties of stainless steel 202?

Stainless steel 202 contains chromium and nickel which provide corrosion resistance. However, it is less resistant to rusting compared to higher grades of stainless steel like 304 or 316. Exposure to certain environments, such as high chloride or moisture levels, can lead to rusting of stainless steel 202 over time.

How can you obtain colored component from blue black ink?

To obtain colored components from blue black ink, you can conduct a process called chromatography. In chromatography, the ink is dissolved in a solvent and allowed to separate based on the different components' solubility. The colored components will separate and create distinct bands of color, allowing for their identification and analysis.

Is velvet a synthetic or natural fiber?

Velvet is not a fiber per-se. It is a type of cloth produced by a particular method of weaving on a special loom. It can be made for either natural or synthetic fibers. Natural fibers you might expect to find in velvet include cashmere wool, silk, and cotton. Synthetic fibers that have been substituted for these natural fibers usually can also be woven into velvet fabric.

What effect does global warming have on industry and manufacturing?

Overall, global warming can pose significant challenges for industries to adapt and remain competitive in a changing climate.

What is a vacuum mold?

A vacuum mold is a shape that is placed in a vacuum molding machine to produce the finished piece. A hot plastic sheet is lowered onto the mold, and then air is vacuumed out from underneath. This pulls the soft plastic sheet down over the mold, and the plastic takes the shape of that mold. Cold air is blown over the setup for a short time, and the molded plastic sheet, with its molded shape formed in it, is lifted off the mold and sent on for further work.

What is the main materials in the sun?

The Sun is primarily made up of hydrogen and helium, with smaller amounts of heavier elements such as carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen. These elements undergo nuclear fusion in the Sun's core to produce energy and light.

What is the difference between injection molding in thermoplastics and injection molding in thermosetting plastics?

hi...

EXTRUSION MOULDING means after the polymer granules are fed in hopper

then it melts in barrel and go thru the rotating screw....a mould is fitted at the end of this assembly that continuously extrudes the polymer in a continuous long particular shape as pipe etc. this later can b cut at regular intervals if needed...

while in INJECTION MOLDING as the molten polymer reaches the mold it takes the shape there cooled and then taken out frm the mold...if it consists of runners etc.then its separated and then the process agn starts...

thus extrusion molding is a continuous process while injection molding is not.

extrusion moulding is a continuous process, it gives a constant section.
