There are many ways in which you can do this. McDonald's has one of the best training programs available in the Food Service industry. McDonald's U is still a respected name in National Restaurant Association. One of the best ways is to go through their ranks. For example, you start out as a dishwasher. With hard work and dedication, you move to kitchen positions, customer service, shift supervisor, assistant manager and eventually GM of a branch. That may lead to managing several locations which may lead to a Regional Manager position. Another way to do this is by going through a formal education program. There is the option of an Associate Degree in Food Service or a Bachelor's Degree in Restaurant Manager or an MBA in Business Administration. The more education, the better. The restaurant industry is still an industry that requires more formal education. Going through the ranks is a fantastic way for reaching the American Dream yet one that continues to leave this industry in the dark ages of Human Resources evolution. The secret is in balancing both. This is a very rewarding industry but also a very challenging one.

That is something each of us has to decide for ourselves. McDonald's food tastes good, but it is loaded with preservatives. As a treat every now and then, it probably isn't bad, but eating at McDonald's (or any other fast food hamburger restaurant) daily probably is not the healthiest choice.

In 1940 his two sons, Maurice and Richard, moved the entire building 40 miles to the corner of 14th and E Streets in San Bernardino, California. The restaurant was renamed "McDonald's".

In 1948, the brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald introduced the "Speedee Service System" which established the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant. The McDonald Brothers had been in the restaurant business since 1937. In 1948, they closed down a successful carhop drive-in to establish the streamlined operation Ray Kroc saw in 1954. The menu was simple: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, shakes, soft drinks, and apple pie. The carhops were eliminated to make McDonald's a self-serve operation. Mac and Dick McDonald had taken great care in setting up their kitchen like an assembly line, to ensure maximum efficiency.

Also, shops like McDonalds and other famous UK/USA/CANADA fast food restaurants fry the meat and fries in the SAME oil, which means the fat from the non halal meat will be incorporated with the other meats, which makes the other meats haraam. The meats will have the pork fat fried with them which is haraam.

I wondered too and I sent an email to McDonald's and received this reply.

"The actor in the Chicken McNuggets commercial is named Gregory, and he does commercials in the Los Angeles area."
