Make sure the car is in park, turn off ignition and remove the keys. Don't lock the door. Go to the fuel filler door and gently push on the right side (as you are looking at it). The MB CLS has an over-ride to the locking mech inside the trunk. On the passenger side of the car on the outer wall of the car there is a felt cutout that has a red plastic ring that you can use to open the gas cap (it may take 2 people: one to pull the ring, the other to open the fuel filler door).

I have the same problem with my 2002 C320. After diagnosing the problem at the MB dealership, I was told that the power seat motor is draining my battery. Both seats. Come to find out that many other people have experienced the same problem.
I called Mercedes USA and they said that since the car is out of warranty, there is not much they can do. But if enough people call and tell them that they have this same problem, they will realize that this is a defective part and they will issue a recall and pay for necessary repairs.

How do you open the gas tank door on a Mercedes Benz C180 model?
make sure the car is unlocked and manually open the tank door.
If you look over the top of the magazine closely, you will see where one of the CD holders is stuck out. You have to get something small enough to work into that spot and push it back in. It will eject then. After we got our's out (my wife did it because I got frustrated and she took over while I drank a beer) we pulled out all of the little holders and made sure all the CD's were properly placed, and we worked the holders back and forth a few times to make sure they were sliding freely. We haven't had anymore problems. Hope this helps.
If it still won't come out, you'll have to take the CD changer apart. It definitely takes a little work. After both the top and bottom housings are off, there is a geared wheel; turn it and the magazine will pop out.

On the CLK 320 Cabrolet you have to perform a series of actions on your dash i.e. reset button etc. to reset the service reminder. There is no plug in for a Mercedes techniciam to reset the reminder.

You need to 'initialize' your steering angle sensor. just start the car, and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, and the lights should go out. Now about the engine revving thing, that could be something differant. Try this first, then remove the key from the ignition, and start engine again.
