Lyrics to the song ain't no sunshine Michael Jackson?

[Spoken Intro:]
You ever want something
that you know you shouldn't have
The more you know you shouldn't have it,
The more you want it
And then one day you get it,
It's so good too
But it's just like my girl
When she's around me
I just feel so good, so good
But right now I just feel cold, so cold
Right down to my bones
'Cause ooh...
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And she's always gone too long
Anytime she goes away

Wonder this time where she's gone
Wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away

I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, know, know, know, know,
I know, I know,
Hey I ought to leave
I ought to leave her alone
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone

Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
Only darkness every day
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home
Anytime she goes away.

What about sunrise

What about rain

What about all the things

That you said we

were to gain...

What about killing fields

Is there a time

What about all the things

That you said was

yours and mine...

Did you ever stop to notice

All the blood we've shed before

Did you ever stop to notice

The crying Earth the

weeping shores?

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

What have we done to the world

Look what we've done

What about all the peace

That you pledge

your only son...

What about flowering fields

Is there a time

What about all the dreams

That you said was

yours and mine...

Did you ever stop to notice

All the children dead from war

Did you ever stop to notice

The crying Earth the

weeping shores

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

I used to dream

I used to glance

beyond the stars

Now I don't know where we are

Although I know

we've drifted far

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Aaaaaaaaah Aaaaaaaaah

Hey, what about yesterday

(What about us)

What about the seas

(What about us)

The heavens are falling down

(What about us)

I can't even breathe

(What about us)

What about the bleeding Earth

(What about us)

Can't we feel its wounds

(What about us)

What about nature's worth

(ooo, ooo)

It's our planet's womb

(What about us)

What about animals

(What about it)

We've turned kingdoms to dust

(What about us)

What about elephants

(What about us)

Have we lost their trust

(What about us)

What about crying whales

(What about us)

We're ravaging the seas

(What about us)

What about forest trails

(ooo, ooo)

Burnt despite our pleas

(What about us)

What about the holy land

(What about it)

Torn apart by greed

(What about us)

What about the common man

(What about us)

Can't we set him free

(What about us)

What about children dying

(What about us)

Can't you hear them cry

Where did we go wrong

(ooo, ooo)

Someone tell me why

What about babies

(What about it)

What about the days

(What about us)

What about all their joy

(What about us)

What about the man

(What about us)

What about the crying man

(What about us)

What about Abraham

(What was us)

What about death again

(ooo, ooo)

Do we give a d*mn

How do you find the family line for Cardinal Michael Logue?

Not sure which family you are looking for. Our branch of the Logue family stretched across the Southern US and dated back Edward who arrived in America about 1700. Would love to hear from my Irish kin who have family history back farther.

Michael Logue

According to a 1963 family letter by Denis Durning, Cardinal Michael Logue's mother was named Catherine Durnion. The same letter claims Logue's meternal lineage to the third of three sons of Owen Durnion (or O' Durnion)--namely, Torlough. According to Vatican archives, he was born near Letterkenny.

Logue is named albeit unflatteringly, in Joyce's "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man".

My name is Michael Logue, I'm an Australian and he is an indirect ancestor of mine. The family is from Donegal if that helps

NewMy name is Michael Logue. My Logue line came from Donegal via Edward to the US in about 1700. I am sure we are in the same line. Would love to hear from Irish kin who can go back further.

Hi, I'm also Michael Logue from Donegal, my Grandfather was Michael Logue, his father was Edward Logue, both residents of Milford Co. Donegal. There is another branch of the Donegal Logues based in around the Cranford and Rosguill peninsula's. There is a family tree floating around that goes back 3-400 years, I haven't seen it myself but my father has a copy I believe.

let me know if you want more info.

regards

Mick.

How did the outcome of World War 2 create change and conflict in the world?

The first and most obvious answer was the cold war. The world had settled into 2 armed camps, the west (democracies) vs. the east (communism). This polarization led to each of the super powers trying to line up allies and potential allies. The old maxim of an enemy of my enemy is my friend, led to many strange alliances in the west. This cold war led to conflicts in many regions of the 3rd world as the Soviets sponsored rebels in many areas to try and destabilize them. They also wanted to use these ongoing conflicts to drain the resources of the west. The Korean conflict as well as the Vietnam conflict were also direct results of this. The Vietnam conflict also saw massive upheaval here in the US and abroad. Of course the east was not without their own problems. First Hungary then Czechoslovakia tried to rebel against the Communists, but Nato did not want to get involved for fear of it escalating into a larger conflict that could easily have become WWIII.

What was Stonewall Jackson's full name?

I'm sure he was fine with it. I can't think of any quote where he said "Gee, I love my name" or anything like that. Jackson was an extremely religious man, and Thomas and Jonathan (his first and middle names) are both Biblical names. He always signed his real name, or initials, and did not go around introducing himself as "Stonewall". The newspapers and his soldiers were very fond of the Stonewall name though.

Jackson had other nicknames. For about ten years before the Civil War he was out of the army and teaching at The Virginia Military Institute. The students there called him "old Tom Fool Jackson", because they thought he was eccentric. Some of his soldiers called him "Old Jack". Others called him "old Blue Light" - Jackson had very vividly blue eyes, and there was a type of religious revivalists in America then who were called "blue lights".

There was another General Jackson, Alfred, in the Confederate Army. His men called him "Mudwall". I cant imagine he was too happy about it.

Why can't you stop loving a married man?

Usually people that seek out married people like the game of "winning over" that person and also these people are afraid of real committment. It's easy to go out with a married man because deep inside you know you'll have fun, keep the magic in your relationship (but only for so long until he grows tired of you ... and he will) then to be mature and have a relationship with someone who is single and actually work for the relationship that you want. You love this man simply because you can't have him. It's human nature. Did you honestly think this guy had any intentions of keeping his promises to you? Most married men love the thrill of another younger woman thinking he is pretty hot stuff, then the novelty wears off or the wife finds out. Having a relationship with a married man is a disaster in most cases and a very low percentage ever work out. There is always that question, "If he cheated on his wife, will he cheat on me?" The answer is, most likely! A smart woman is independent and has pride, and she knows what it would feel like to have her hubby or boyfriend cheat on her with another woman. The "other woman" usually never wins, and the poor wife is left with a jerk! Start getting out with friends and start dating single guys. It would be a good thing if you decide to concentrate on yourself and ask why you feel you need to date a married man. What is missing in your life? Why do you need a married man, and more so, why do you want this guy when it's obvious he had his fling with you and has gone back to his wife or onto another woman? All of us makes mistakes during our lives and hopefully we learn from them. Give it time, the hurt goes away. You'll meet someone new (hopefully single) and be glad you didn't settle for second best.
