How do you fix HP laptop not booting?
Here is what is going on
The laptop will turn on fine it will run and have a while to enter the BIOS if necessary. Its a HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. It will go to a black screen where it says
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose last known good configuartion to revert to the most recent settings that worked. If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due toa power faiuure or because the power or reset button was pressed, or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose start windows normall." It gives me 5 options
1. Safe mode
2. safe mode with networking
3. safe mode with command prompt
4. last known good configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
5. Start Windows Normally I've tried each one the first three will show a bunch of text and reset while the last two will just reset the computer.
How can you hook up your laptop through a wireless router?
The basic answer is yes.
I do not quite know what you mean by 'hook' but I assume you mean wired. The way to do this is to have an ethanet cable, plug it into the laptop and then into the router, so the laptop and router are connected to each other. You then get Internet or whatever the router is for, for your laptop as well.

That actually only brings up the file menu for the application that currently has the input focus. It does not necessarily work for any arbitrary application having the focus. It probably depends on which version of office you have, and what version of windows you are running. In my case, Office Pro 2007 on XP Pro, I do not see a global shortcut key to get to a "master" office menu. If someone knows, please refine this answer.

If you want to view the screen of a computer outside of your lan (over the internet) I would recommend Teamviewer. Free to use for non-comercial use and also pretty easy to get started on. On the computer you wish to watch, press the "Join Remote Control Session" just below the green download button on the frontpage. Run the file once it's downloaded and write down the ID and password showing on the window popping up. On the pc you wish to watch from, you should go to the teamviewer page and press the green download button and run it once it's downloaded.
