Sounds like it. You have to go see a doctor to get it confirmed and see that everything is out so you don't get infections. You might need a D&C.

I'm not sure, but I am meant to be 9 weeks pregnant and went for scan and they could only find gestational sack at 6 week size, no fetal heartbeat. Prepared me for miscarriage. Then had bloods done and HCG levels were 18000, then 18900. My thoughts were that my body still thinks I'm pregnant, and hence still producing HCG...but doc wants to wait and see as he said if you had a twin and it perished, this could explain why the gestational sack is still small - so it could be a viable pregnancy....

A natural miscarriage usually occurs in the first trimester because the embryo is not viable. Sometimes you bleed and sometimes nothing happens and you wont know until the checkup at the doctor.

Your hcg levels take a little while to go back to normal which is why you are still seeing a positive. I wouldn't recommend testing for a while. Sometimes it can take a couple of months to go back to normal. Don't do that to yourself.

Well I think the procedures might be different depending on which hospital you go to but if you have a miscarriage there is nothing they can do before viability and if the fetus is already dead you can see your regular doctor the next morning and he will have to give you a surgical abortion to get it out so you don't get infections. If the miscarriage is already over it's not really a emergency case anymore unless there is severe bleeding.

This isn't related to the DEPO. You need to go to A&E if the bleeding is heavy or make a urgent appointment with your physican for a examination, blood tests & ultrasound.
