Crickets, yes, grasshoppers I would not think so...... possible but It would depend on the size of the anole. From experience I know that crickets will bit a lizard with their mandibles, I would think a grasshopper would do the same, so if you do try it please be careful

it depends on where the turtles are because when the water gets to cold for them they swim to warmer waters wich are mostly tropical parts of the world and then they end up staying there becaause of the warm water.
Some can simply by eating too many leaves or tent caterpillars, which where I live are pretty destructive create their tent like nests in trees until the point where you can no longer save the tree. To stop this from happening, trim off all effected areas as soon as you spot them. The more you procrastinate, the more destructive the nest becomes. Tie up the branches in a thick plastic bag and mKe sure there are no holes. With any luck, you will not get them again in the same year. Where I live, every yard gets them once a year, around the fall.
Their range depends upon weather , winds and temperature . One tagged monarch was recaptured 265 miles away from where it had been released the previous day .
Like all butterflies monarchs have a long tube for a mouth called a proboscis. This allows them to drink the nectar as if through a straw.
The monarchs rest on a flower or in a safe shelter away from preditors.
Many butterflies use eye spots, like peacocks, for defense. The spots are a common form of defense that use a pattern on the top, underneath, or both sides or their front and back wings. Some butterfly species have two large eye spots on their rear wings. When a predator approaches, the butterfly will suddenly show its eye spots and frighten the would-be attacker away.
Every year, millions of Monarch Butterflies migrate from southern Canada to Mexico, and each of them will pollenate millions of flowers, since the main diet of M. Butterflies is nectar. A few butterflies will carry pollen with them to Mexico, where they will in turn, fertilize the the plants with the pollen the are carrying.
Any hummingbird species that is threatened has been put on the endangered species list. There are organizations that band hummingbirds to track them so that they can protect their habitat.
The adaptation of the monarch butterfly is a early diet of milkweed. This diet of milkweed ensures the caterpillars and the adults taste terrible. A predator has only to taste the bitter monarch once to learn to avoid them in the future.
