In the 1960's there were small alligators in the moat that encircled the ship, at the same time monkeys lived on the ship. We use to throw peanuts to the monkey's. Use to wonder as a child, if the monkeys ever fell into the moat with the alligator's? Even as a kid in the 60's I knew that even though interesting, I knew that that particular arrangement Monkeys on the ship with alligators in the moat around the ship was morally wrong. Now, I am 52 years old and I still think about that unusual zoo attraction.

They have a system that is set up to know how the mouth moves with the letter. They put poibnts on the characters voice and they click on the letter needed to be said. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ That is one way of doing it. I heard on a YouTube video during the times of Looney Tunes, they voiced the characters first for accuracy as trying to do it the other way round ( animating the characters and then voicing it ) would be a lot harder to do. Sometimes, they would also try and act it out it a mirror, like say a word that they want the character to say, and then animate the character as they say it. There is actually a researched set of character mouth positions for each of the phonetics of the English vocabulary. These are pretty much accepted with all animators. For instance, the sound of a 'b' and the sound of an 'm' would actually have the same mouth position for the character, which looks like both lips are together. Usually, first they will record all of the voice overs. They will do the entire script in a soundbooth. They will actually have all of the characters and animation complete at this point except for the mouth and probably some facial expressions. Now, as they playback the recordings, they will animate the mouth according to the phonetics of each and every syllable. Some tweaking to the speed of the animation will synchronize it with the recordings. Sometimes, they do the voiceovers last. This gives the actor more to work with in terms of expression since they can see what is going on and match their words with the mouth of the character. Technically the softwares now a days are very helpful. There is one called papagayo. It records your voice and creates a *.dat file with it. Now you can use this in the animating software like anime studio to synchronise the voice with mouth animation by a single click !

It probably seems like menstruation would be a big pain for other primates, right? But the thing to remember is that in the past, and even in some other 'natural fertility' groups today, women would typically get married at a much earlier age and spend most of their adult lives either pregnant or breastfeeding, both of which cause what's known as "secondary amenorrhea" (no periods), so they would actually have way fewer periods over the course of their lifetime than we experience. By the time a baby primate is weaning and its mum can ovulate and mate again, odds are she'll also have a line of eager males waiting in the wings to start the whole cycle over again, thus preventing menstruation. When implantation does not occur in a given cycle(recall that the length of a female's cycle varies both between species and also within the members of a given species), however, then the endometrial tissue might be reabsorbed (so there's no external bleeding) or shed (see Strassman, 1996), although few mammals have as much menstrual bleeding as humans. So, as you can see menstruation is not something that would pose a huge problem for most non-human primates because it would be a relatively rare event. Finally, the fact that women in developed countries today menstruate so much is, as you can see, certainly not the "ancestral" pattern, and has been linked to a rise in many types of reproductive cancers.

Well, they can be house broken but a sensible option would be to keep them in a cage because your house could be dangerous for them to explore without supervision.
