Theoretically there is no "ceiling" on the tolerance on opiates. That being said, one with little or no opiate tolerance 40mg could be too much. All I can say is that if you do start to feel the symptoms of narcotic overdose (can find symptoms online) get to the ER and they will give you an opiate antagonist which will reverse the effects of the opiate. It's a very effective antidote for opiate overdose so be aware of that. I'm not going to be like most people and say don't use it because I doubt that would to any good if you've already decided to, all I can say is be safe. Opiate addiction is no joke as I've been fighting it for years, so just be careful and keep it in check.
