If you are not totally 100 percent serious about getting a cool petpet, then that would not be worth it to buy it. yes it is cheap less than 8k for the whole lab map, but you have to have access to the neopet secret lab ray first. (meaning you have to buy every piece of that map.) the whole secret lab map for neopets is a whooping 750k+. So unless you are willing to spend that much you shouldn't.. But the secret lab map both are pretty awesome, you can zap your neopet into cool colors and limited edition species same for petpets.

For the Brain Tree's quests, you cannot find a database for the answers or ask others for them, since no one will know. The Brain Tree randomly generates a question for you, so you must find it on your own.

To find the answer, you must complete two of the Esophagor's quests. You can find him in the Haunted Woods, nearby the Brain Tree. The Esophagor's quests can be either extremely cheap, or extremely expensive. If they are more than a few thousand neopoints, they generally are not worth completing because you will be paying for more than you recieve. Once you complete a quest from Esophagor, he will give you one of the two answers, like when the dead person had died. With another quest, he will give you the second answer, where. After you have two answers, give them to the Brain Tree within his time limit and he will reward you. Usually the quest isn't worth the trouble, while other times he can reward you with very expensive and rare items, or even with a shiny new trophy.

Assuming you may mean Shiny or customized Pokemon, Pokemon cannot be changed to shiny willingly without using the Action Replay. Shiny Pokemon can be encountered randomly in the wild with a low rate of 1/8192, which will alter the color of the normal Pokemon. Customized Pokemon (Shadow Lugia, etc.) may also just be a hack or mod within Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.

You have to buy all the pieces of the Secret Laboratory map and have you pet zapped into one. I know because I have a Coconut JubJub.

Anything that you would possibly have downloaded from Neopets would have been checked for viruses by TNT, but on the other hand, my Windows based PC has been infected with a Vundo Trojan [otherwise known as "Virtumonde" or "Virtumundo"] and the only place that I can think of that it would have come from is Neopets.
