The Inuit's historical presence and their traditional knowledge of the land play a crucial role in the identity and governance of Nunavut today.

Nunavut has a total of 22 electoral districts, known as ridings. These ridings are used for the election of Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in the territory. Each riding represents a specific community or group of communities within Nunavut.

all my family lives in Nunavut, so I go up there to visit family. I'm pretty sure if you go up there, people are more than willing to show you around town, show you different places, show you how we hunt, fish and people may be surprised by this, but they do modern things too like play sports every night. it is actually really fun and the people everywhere you go, are super nice!

To the West are the Norhwest Territories, it's Southern border is with Manitoba, Quebec and the Nothern tip of Newfoundland are across Ungava Bay, Greenland is to the East across Baffin Bay and the Polar Ice Cap is to the North.

Nunavut is called Nunavut because in the langueges they speak Nunavut means our land.

Nunavut was given to the Inuit, so i don't think so because they live individually, and i don't even think there is very much of a government. although right now the Canadian government has ships up near there protecting the northwest passage.
