The best bet is to be well rounded and not just be one way or another. For instance, to be considered a jock can be looked at as less attractive by kids who tend to excel in academics. Kids tend to group one another according to a limited set of criteria, such as jock, nerd, egghead, etc. when there is a lot more to most people than outward appearance. You should get to know a person before grouping them in a way that may not actually apply. A person that associates with a wide range of personalities types is more likely to have a wide network of friends.
