Yes. But I would strongly advice against shooting any drug for recreation. Recreation always becomes an addiction when you start shooting drugs for the hell of it. Plus it is so bad for your veins. If your mind is set to get high, try plugging instead. feels a lot like an IV..without all the risks of shooting. Just remember it makes your meds way more potent so try half your normal dose.

No, you should never do this!! The whole reason for the time release on oxycontin(brand name) is to allow for a patient to have a continuous & even amount in their bloodstream for the most effective pain control without the highs and lows. If you are taking this medicine the way you are supposed to, then you should be taking it twice daily. By taking it only once a day, not only are you not going to receive good pain control; it will be much harder and alot more damaging to your body than taking them twice a day as directed. You really need to discuss this with your doctor asap!! Oxycontin should only ever be given for long term use as that is what it was made for. You may find that immediate release oxycodone a better choice for you!

No, Oxycontin is an extended release medication and Oxycodone (Oxy IR) is an immediate release medication, you can feel the effect with 15 minutes.

I'd say so if they are the 80 or 40 milligram slow release. Even the 10 or 20 milligrams would kill especially if a person has not taken them before and has no tolerance. It would take much less that 50 Oxycontin if they are crushed before taking. Crushing allows the drug to be released all at once instead of over a 12 hr period when left whole.

You could try poppywash, you get a whole load of poppy seeds (like really a lot) and boil them down into water for ages until it's quite concentrated, then drain it and drink it like tea. It's a really mild opiate, won't get you wasted but it will relax you, I knew an ex-junkie who told me about it. I tried it and it was alright, but I've never had an oxy habit (more into valium). It's a similar chemical reaction though so it should help with cravings.

suboxone attaches itself to the opiod receptors and actually have a long halflife (meaning they stay in the system for a while) and what it will do is you pretty much are wasting your money on anything opiate wise because since something from the suboxone is already attached to your opiate receptors nothing else can attach themselves to them. Yes, you can. Some people may not have a large enough tolerance developed like the people it has been prescribed for and an opiate overdose leads to respiratory failure so you will stop breathing and then you're heart will stop beating since it relaxes the diaphragm so much if you are not used to large doses of Oxycontin.
