Well they are plenty of different types of pills that contain oxycodone. First there is Oxycontin which contains oxycodone in a time-released form. There pills are white,yellow,pink,green, and some others.If they are brand name they are always small and circular. If they are brand name they always say "OC" on one side and say either "10","20","40","80","160" on the other side depending on their strength. But they make plenty of other generic oxycontins that come in a variety of pills. Percocet on the other hand is oxycodone containing Acetimatephon(spell?). They are usually circular and are white,blue,or yellow i believe. They'll say percocet, endocet, or have codes like "watson 602" or something like that. Oxycontin also has nothing added to it such as Tylenol. Oxycontin is just oxycodone in a 12hr release formula and made at different doses.

That depends on whether you're taking a time released form like Oxycontin or an immediate release like Percocet or Roxycontin. You ideally wouldn't want them peaking at the same time. So you should be on Oxycontin and a fairly low dose of XANAX.

My answer is: This is not a good combination for folks who don't have chronic pain and chronic insomnia. I am pregnant and my doc has me on Lortab and Ambien CR as well. I just space those far enough apart so they dont give me any problems.

Also, my father is dying of cancer and they have him on Oxycontin, Oxycodone, xanax, and Ambien cr all at the same time. So it depends o the situation.
