There are a number of elements which would affect the cost:

1) Travel cost to and from Paris. This depends on where you are coming from and which method of transport you intend to use (air, train, hitching, etc.) Look this up on a suitable airline or rail website.

2) Hotel costs. You can get these from a hotel website. Reckon about €80-€100 per room per night for a cheaper hotel.

3) Food costs. Breakfast may be included in your hotel costs. From €20 per person for a basic meal.

4) Travel (Métro), about €5-€10 per day.

5) Entrance fees and excursions.

6) Shopping, presents and souvenirs

7) Miscellaneous. New clothes, luggage, cost of a passport (if you haven't already got one), cost of a visa if you need one.

All the above items are costs for any holiday trip, regardless of the destination.

I beg to differ… but I have dined at both Tour D'Argent and The Grand Vefour and they do not come close to Chez Pierre Gagnaire, Rue Balzac. It is definitely the most elegant and well known restaurant in Paris and likely the most expensive. It has been rated in the top 5 best restaurants in the world for several years. It is literally as fancy as it gets.
