Features of Dance Music include:

It can not be compressed very much if you do not want to loose quality.

There are compression scemes available that manages to compress very much, but at a great loss of detail and color information.

certain cartoons can be compressed quite a lot, but even here you will not be able to get more than about 30 minutes in a semi decent quality for a TV screen.

If you plan on compressing something for a portable, say a small phone-video screen, then this can not show an awful lot of detail and the compression sceme can be chosen accordingly. Up to 70-90 minutes is possible on 128 Mb.

I did a test on my Ice Age 1 DVD once and managed to get the entire film onto my Nokia 6225. The file was about 120 Mb and was quite playable on the phone.

For most people and for playback on a TV, even the best compression programs would use at least 600 Mb for a 'decent' quality ordinary movie of 90 min. Low framerate, low bitrate on sound, low bitrate on video, great loss of colorinformation, makes this possible.

Vivid colors and high resolution and framerate, crisp and clear sound in surround, would demand at least 1 Gb for a movie of 90 minutes. (Here, only the sound tracks would use up 128 Mb.)

128 Mb is more suitable for stillpictures and a camera. Even with 5 mega pixels photos you can hold about 60 pictures on the memory card. If chosing 1 Megapixel resolution you can hold more than 400 pictures on this 128 Mb card.

Music in MP3 format is also a perfect use for this card. 4-5 minute songs in quite good quality takes up 4-5 Mb each. you can hold 27-30 songs or the equal of about two full CD's on this card.

The Filipino traditional itik-itik dance is performed in a three quarters rhythm: 1 2 3 / 1 2 3. Dugso - a Manobo dance of thanksgiving and invocation for continuous protection, dancers make heavy footwork's on the grounds, to implore the gods of Talaandig's blessings and guidance. Dugso (meaning 'dance') is a ceremonial dance among the Manobo people in Bukidnon, Agusan and Misamis Oriental . The Dugso (also Dugsu) is usually performed during important occasions like kaliga (feasts) or kaamulan (tribal gatherings). Other occasions that call for the performance of Dugso are festivities connected to abundant harvest, the birth of a male heir or victory in war. Brandeis however, claimed that the dugso has no specific occasion underpinning aside from that of the kaliga-on festivities. He said that it is only performed to "entertain their deities". The Dugso for a kaliga is usually performed on the third day which is usually the merriest being the culmination of the whole celebrations.

Th above answer, while very nice, is inaccurate. That is the reason for the candy cane and not the Kappa cane. The Kappa cane is directly related to helping the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. When SGR was established in Indiana at Butler, it was still a time of great racial strife and bigotry against minorities. SGR was comprised of professional women in education. The notion that these black women had the audacity to try and establish a greek letter organization really stuck in the craw of some of the more ignorant members of the community around Butler. The SGR founders were sometimes threatened with physical violence if they continued to pursue the dream of establishing their sisterhood. The nearby Kappas took it upon themselves to be real gentlemen and escort these ladies to class to deter any further assaults on the ladies. As black men in what is essentially a southern small town, they could not obviously carry weapons. However, a true gentleman always carries his walking stick. It was quite handy for strolling the campus with a lady on your arm, swatting away dogs or useful as a deterrent if need be. The Kappas let those in opposition to SGR's establishment know that they would brook no nonsense when it came to the safety of these ladies. It became a regular sight to see Kappas with their canes.
