Stop itching skin from a fiberglass pool?
All fiberglass has a final coating of gel coat, it could be marine gel coat, tooling gel coat, or swimming pool gel coat. Typically, swimming pool gel coat will last about 20 years before it loses effectivness. At that point, algae becomes able to "cling", the surface begins to stain, and the actual fiberglass becomes evident to swimmers, causing scratches. There is only one solution, lightly sand off the remaining gel coat, wash down the pool, apply one coat of vinyl ester resin, and roll-on 3 coats of swimming pool gel coat. The pool will be as good as new for another 20 years, provided the pool is properly cared for.
First of all, don't think about treating a whole house of mold as a diy project - mold can be too dangerous to your health, and it would be best to call a mold remediation specialist to treat the mold and remove it. This is true even if the mold is not completely widespread, but even affecting just one room, or just a area of several square feet on a wall or ceiling. With that much visible mold, you can't be sure of how much mold is hidden behind wallpaper or on the other side of the drywall. Professionals will remove the moldy drywall and other building materials, spray to kill the mold and test the air to be sure that spores do not remain.
Moldy drywall will need to be completely replaced, because it is porous and there is no good way to clean out all the mold. Insulation in the wall may also need to be replaced. Solid, nonporous surfaces should be able to be cleaned.
You need to treat the reason the mold is growing if you don't want it to come back. Mold can't live without moisture, whether it is sitting water or high relative humidity. The mold remediation specialist will figure out the source of the moisture in the house, using sophisticated thermal imaging technology and moisture detectors. Healthy home humidity usually is in the range of 30-50%, and 60% and over will allow mold to grow.
Once the mold is removed and the moisture problems fixed, you should not need further treatments.
They no longer add lead to paint in the US. However, many older buildings still have lead paint in them and you should be very careful to avoid exposure.
The clothes of a person catch fire the person is covered with a blanket to extinguish fire why?
The blanket will help to smother the flames. The flames should go out once deprived of oxygen, hopefully before the person suffers burns. A carpet could be used instead as speed is essential.

Why do the construction workers wear dust masks?
The construction workers- professionalist and amateurs- wear dust masks (also called "disposable dust respirators") to protect themselves from many dangerous or harmful substances that are present on construction sites or in houses during construction, remodeling and demolition works in form of dust, mist or fume. Most dangerous are asbestos fibers, which are present in some type of roofing and in insulating and fireproof materials. There are although many dangerous substances in such environment: silica dust(silicosis risk!) from concrete and masonry, wood dust, paint chips and dust, fiberglass insulation( not asbestos, but also harmful or irritant to mucous membrames), sometimes mold and other chemicals. So, if the workers aren't stupid, they always wear dust mask! Working with mask on provides you longer life without serious and unpleasant lung diseases!
What qualities and personal attributes can you bring to your place of employment?
Here are some pointers for describing your personal attributes in an interview:
It depends on the mixture and the propellant in the can. Old style cans with CFCs and modern nitrogen pressurized cans have nonflammable propellants. Cans which have water based contents have nonflammable contents. Cans containing propane or similar propellants and or hydrocarbon contents would of course be flammable.
The biggest problem is not however their flammability.
In a fire situation the can and its contents over pressure as the can heats up until the can ruptures (not explode). The contents vaporize instantly due to the sudden drop in pressure. If the contents and or propellant are flammable this mass of vaporized flammable gas detonates or deflagrates in a process known as a BLEVE (Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapour Explosion) which either sends a ball of burning gas through the area and or sends shreds of ruptured can through the area (both cases are unpleasant)
If the contents and propellant are not flammable the can can still be projected by the rupture either as shrapnel or as a rocket powered can, and the gas can blow the initial fire all over the place

Can you use a 150w hps bulb in a 150w mh ballast?
The MH ballast will not have the ignitor required to power up the HPS bulb. I have 1000w ballast that can be switched between HPS and MH with a singe switch just by disabling the ignitor for the MH.
I would look into conversion bulbs, or else check out this site for $20 150w HPS ballast with bulb.

What should you do if you were inside a car and a power line fell on the car?
Stay in the car. If you need to leave the car (it's on fire) you should leap from the car in such a way that you do not touch the car and the ground at the same time. Of course, you should also avoid stepping on the power line.
If the pavement is wet, you should keep your feet close together or hop on one foot away from the downed line so as not to create an electrical potential between your feet.

How can you easily tell tempered glass from regular glass without breaking it?
Ok usually tempered glass has a etched stamp in one corner of the glass, that tells you it is a safety rated glass, if it does not it may have a more ripplely reflection, because it is heat tempered . Sometimes you cant tell till you try and cut it and it shatters in a million tiny pieces.

see this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081122140846AA3Ff82
Thank you, that link has a collection of some good answers to my question.
But most of those answers rely on something that can be seen by an intruder, like a piece of tape on the outside of the door, a piece of tape the intruder could replace when leaving.
Is there a way to tell if the door has been opened and know for certain that the intruder did not notice it?
The laser alarm answer is good, especially if it could be arranged so that the alarm does not go off, and a counter indicates if any people and how many people crossed the laser's path. (If you live in an apartment building like me, you don't want the alarm going off for a long time as it would get the other tenants and the manager very upset.)
Another problem with electronic devices such as a hidden camera and the laser is that there are sensors that can detect these electronic devices, and some of these sensors can even turn off the devices or at least point you to where they are.
Are there any hidden cameras including IP cameras that cannot be detected in any way?
Can you hook a home security system to your tv?
Yes, you just plug one end of your RCA cable into the "VIDEO OUT" jack of your security camera and the other end into the "VIDEO IN" jack on your TV. There also might be an "AUDIO" cable which you attach in the same way - from the "AUDIO OUT" jack of the camera to the "AUDIO IN" jack on your TV.
These cables should be supplied with your security system. If they aren't and/or you want longer ones, you can buy them at an electronics retailer or online.
The RCA cable plugs should be COLOR CODED - YELLOW (for video), and RED (for audio), so you just match up the colors when connecting cables from TV to security camera.
In some cases there is also a WHITE plug, which is also AUDIO (RED and WHITE are audio to the RIGHT and LEFT speakers). Sometimes there's an ORANGE plug, which is "Digital Audio".
If you DON'T HAVE RCA PLUGS (which just push in), but you have "BNC Connectors" - which PUSH IN AND TWIST ON - you can buy "BNC to RCA Adapters" at your hardware store, Radio Shack, etc. They should only be a few dollars.
You should also buy an "RF Modulator" (if it doesn't come with your security camera) to plug the camera into and then connect to your TV. An RF Modulator allows you to select the channel (3 or 4) that you want to view your security camera on. This is the same thing as connecting your VCR (or DVR) to your TV and watching through channel 3 or 4.
