The problem is a National Forest on the Panamanian / Columbian Border which is not Gov't maintained. This is why you can not "map" it. Its called the "Darien Gap" and can only be crossed by expedition quality SUV's. Depending on the season, (flooding etch) the trails may be washed out, there are "banditos" etc everywhere. Only the most experienced off-roaders can make it through and it will take 4-5 MONTHS or more if its summer. But if you do, its about another 4 0r 5 day drive to Lima, Peru
