if you have the code enter it then press C then enter new code press C again the green light will flash 4 times to confirm.

if you lost the code you need the ecu reset, google this, there is companys that do it i think for around £50

if you have the engine running you can disable the pad by pulling of its plu under it this will disable the key pad immobiliser.

you need to clean the electric contacts on the rear lights, its just a earthing problem

This is located in the driverside footwell on the righthand side next to the door. Its a little black lever give it a gentle pull.

To adjust the auxillary belt tensioner you require a 6mm Allen key. Firstly slacken the 6mm hexagonal bolt on the tensioner pulley which can be accessed from the O/S/F wheel arch, then slacken the 6mm hexagonal bolt on the tensioner mount. This will allow you to adjust the tensioner at the bottom of the mount. By turning anti-clockwise the tensioner will tighten, clockwise loosen.

I have had this problem.

The central locking system checks that all of the doors are closed when it is activated.

So it has a loop of wires that goes through all the doors (when the doors are closed the loop is complete and the central locking stays locked)

What is happening is, some of the wires in the loop have snapped, his happens in the doors,

(if you look in the door when it is open, on the hinge side, you will see a black rubber tube that contains the wiring).

All of the door wiring will need to be checked and broken wires repaired - this should solve the problem.
