How do you check the transmission fluid in a 1.6 306 automatic?
For a quick check, lay next to the front nearside wheel and look towards the front offside wheel. (You won't need to jack the car up). Roughly centred between the two you will see a large nut with a smaller nut attached beneath. This is the gearbox drainplug. Place a bowl under the plug and undo the bottom smaller nut, making sure you don't loosen the larger top nut. (This would drain the entire gearbox). If there is excess fluid, it will drain out until the correct level is reached. Chances are though that you will need to top the fluid up. In which case you will need to undo the filler plug, which, looking under the bonnet, can be located @ 4ins to the left of the battery casing, on top of the engine block. It is a round nut with a square indent and it's unlikely you will have the correct tool to undo it. However, I found that the spindle from a door handle, ideally with a handle still attached, removes it in seconds! Automatic gearbox fluid is easily available from your local Halfords, and comes with a long plastic spout which reaches reasonably well into the top-up hole. (It will still make a mess!) Pour in a bit at a time, and keep checking under the car to see if any fluid is coming out of the (still undone) drainplug. when it does, you will know you have reached the optimum fluid level. Replace and tighten up the two plug nuts and the job is done. A word of warning though; you will have to have the electronic counter in the ECU re-adjusted by someone with the proper Peugeot diagnostics gear, otherwise it is likely to effect the engine gear settings.

How do you disable the 106 diesel immobilizer?
hello i recently had problems with 98 106 diesel. my imobiliser was keypad type next to the gear lever. the problem i had is that it would not turn its self off and the engine would not work. the way to reset it is to disconnect a connection which is next to the passenger head light. it is a round connection which is quite big. unscrew this, makesure it is clean and reconnect. start the engine. while the engine is running lift out the imobiliser key pad and disconnect the plug. turn off engine and restart no need for imobiliser!!!!! hope this helps

How do you tighten alternator belt peugeot 306?
I don't know the year engine or model of your car!
However on a 1.9 Diesel next to the crankshaft pulley is a tensioning pulley find this and you will see two bolts one is an Allen key bolt loosen this using the correct size Allen key.
Then below the Allen key bolt is a square one use a square section key or a ratchet that fits you will notice that rotating this tightens or loosens the belt.
If you cannot tighten sufficiently just change the belt.
When you are born you have 306 bones but when you become an adult you nave only 200.Why is that?
When a baby is born he/she is not fully developed when it comes to the skull, the spine, their nands and feet, etc. If a baby happened to be born with an arult like skull, two main problems will occur: 1) during birth, both the mother and the baby will ne at a muck higher risk of death during crowning, because the baby's head is not capable of slightly changing shape, adjusting and reposittioning to its intended form. 2) if a baby os born with a devloped skull, he/she will not have the required cranium capacity for the brain to grown and develop. Ultimatelly resulting in death. The my pipnt is that a baby has about 106 mpre bones than adults because they are not needed fully developed just yet. Many of those 106 bpnes fuse together to form structures and larger bones like the skull or the coccyx. I hope that I was able to answer your question. I am not doctor, but biology is my secret passion. Thank you.

How do you remove handbrake cable peugeot 306?
If it's rear discs it's quite easy. Take the centre console out. Two screws underneath the rear ashtray, and two torx drive screws under the gearstick gaiter which should lift out with a delicate poke with a flathead screwdriver. Slacken the adjuster at the back of the handbrake but it needn't come right off. Jack up the car / chock / remove rear wheels. Pull the cable back and down from the caliper leaver. Punch the cable jacket out of the housing on the hub. This will be very tight and take a good hit, you will need a long punch or bolt to hit. Pull the cables out and then follow them through the various clips and channels until you can pull them away from the handbrake. The o/s one is easy. The n/s one goes behind the exhaust shield which will need to be loosened to gain access. The nylon screws undo and pull out with the clips.
Replace the cables making sure they're the right way round and on the correct side of the car. N/S and O/S are slightly different. Tighten the adjuster until the brakes bind and then slacken off slightly.

I don't have the manual right now, but I'm pretty sure you need 10.5 liters of coolant for the 2.0 HDI engine.
there is no speedo cable so if your speedo isn't working you either have a faulty sending unit or the dash half of it is bad
