There is a hose that runs from the radiator to the front of the engine block (front of the vehicle). Where the hose enters the engine, the temperature sender unit is threaded into the block. It has an electrical connector attached to it. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only temperature sender.

if wheel, look at bottom of car, and follow it back, you should notice an indent on the sill,

as with any car the weakest point is the windows so i would say yes but every car is easy to break in to

yes, bought a peugeot recently stuck in a new blaupunkt radio and you can still use all the features with the radio lever, unfortunately the plug that it uses also uses the same one as the aux in that i use for my mp3 player so not much use to me... You can usually use the volume stalk with any radio BUT you usually need an adapter if its not from Blaupunkt. I know this cos i fitted a new kenwood CD player to my 306 and i had to get one. Try changing or cleaning out the stepper motor, this controls the idle and is a common fault on the 306.

I have changed mine today, disconnect the battery remove air intake pipe there are three bolts next to each other at the top of the bell housing undo the bottom one this is the top bolt of the starter motor, jack up car both sides using axle stands undo the plastic inner wheel arch on the offside join two or three extensions with a 13mm socket and you can reach the two remaining bolts holding the starter motor with the wheel removed, disconnect the solenoid once the starter is out and at an angle this way it's much easier to disconnect and connect and remove Job done a bit tricky but can be done

GO TO A PEOUGEOT DEALER REGISTAR ON THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM AND THEY WILL REPROGRAM THE CODES FOR YOU FOR A FEE

You need the vehicle unlocked to open the fuel flap.

The central locking also locks the fuel flap on this model.

if you open the bonnet it is at the top left hand side of the car. It is like a tray you pull out, very simple. This is for a peugeot 206 1.4 99plate

Take off the centre section of the exhaust and the heat shield and behind them you will see the handbrake cable, were the cable goes from two into one there is an adjustment nut to tighten it. Think its 13MM. turn it towards the front of the car to tighten the handbrake.

If you have rear drum brakes you could also adjust the handbrake by pushing the shoes out a few clicks but that involves opening the drums and is more complicated.

i had the same problem and it turned out to be my immobilizer had stopped the car from starting

The revs vary for various speeds, due to variables such as loading, road conditions, weather (windy/flat calm) and the mechanical condition of the vehicle etc.

The manufacturers select the gearing to give the best power to economy ratio at normal speeds. This equates to around 30mph in fourth gear and 56mph in fifth gear.

As to what revs this is, try your handbook, look under max torque @ ??revs in the tech specs' section.

that depends on the cc of the car. a small engine, say 900cc is about £20 for six months or £35 a year. My 1800cc Volvo is £100 for six months or £190 for a year.

on the side of gearbox at top a remove ns wheel to see it its an 8mm hexagen shaped bolt

hold down the trip reset button for about 10 seconds then the minute hand should start moving

They usually run between 32/32 34/36 or 36/36 depending on the year (1994-1999) Hope this helps!
