The country is made of thousands of islands. Boracay is just the most commercial for tourist money. Realistically there are thousands of much nicer places with much more spectacular beaches. One thing is for certain and that is you can always rely on the internet to get the most amount of inaccurate assumptions and misinformation made by people who have no idea what they are talking about.
