What is the phobia for hospitals?

i honestly could say i have hospital phobia. manly because I'm scared of needles and everytime I've been to a hospital someone i love dies, so they scare me a little. but that could just be me and my experiences.

ANSWER:

There's 2 types of fear when it comes to hospitals.

First, you have those people who are afraid of having needles or tubes running through their bodies. People who are fearful that they may die, because hospitals are full of germs. If someone special dies while in the hospital, such as a grandparent, many believe they will die too if they are forced to stay there for treatment.

The second group are those people who want to be in the hospital. There are those who may get just a sniffle, they are convinced that they are dying, and want medical attention quickly. Some are scared of catching germs, and feel that they may develop something if that don't get medical help right away.

Does a panic attack kill you?

No, you cannot die from having an anxiety attack.

You can easily stop one taking the following steps:

  • Breathe a deep breath, then hold it for a second
  • Then breathe out a little every second for four seconds, only using your stomach not chest
  • Then breathe in for four seconds using only your stomach

If you get this right, or even close, it will stop faster than any other method out there. You just have to know that you always control your breathing, which you do by breathing in slowly. KNOW that you're not going to die. It's just a normal feeling for you and nothing else. If you need to, go to the restroom or somewhere private where you can focus on nothing but your breathing.

It's just your heart beating fast, making too much of a certain chemical, that makes your body feel all numb and stiff when you hyperventilate. These attacks come on at any time, even in sleep, so you have to learn to control your breathing and/or get on medication.

What phobia is the fear of being left alone?

The phobia related to the extreme fear of being alone is known as Isolophobia, Autophobia, or Monophobia.

The phobia can manifest itself in several different ways. Some people experience a constant fear of being alone. These individuals feel that they must consistently be in the company of others. In this form, the phobia can have a huge impact on the individual's quality of life and may require years of therapy. Other people only experience the extreme fear of being alone when triggered by some sort of stimuli. This stimulus may be related to a traumatic event in their past that has been linked in the mind to being alone. In a way it is merely a defense mechanism. The fear is created to avoid ever finding yourself in a similar situation to that which caused so much suffering in the past.

How do you overcome your fear of dying?

-We as humans have no way of stoping death, but the bible brings out that God can and will. Revelation:21:4- says that death will be no more.... Isaiah:25:8- says that God will swallow up death forever. Here's a question though have you ever wondered why we are always looking for a way to prolong death or find that provibial "fountain of youth?" Well the bible answers that as well it's at Ecclesiastes:3:11- where it says God has put time indefinite in our hearts. So it's within us to want to live forever. But why would God put that in our heart if we were created to only live 70 or 80 years to just die?Think about this when God created the first humans (Adam and Eve)he created them a perfect human pair. So if they were created perfect then logicaly wouldn't that mean that they would live forever? I mean it wasn't until they ate the forbidden fruit that sin intered the world and death was part of the equation for humans. That's found at Romans:3:12. Food for thought....... There's also many many more scriptures that say the exact thing I've shared but these were the ones I thought of off the top of my head. I encourage you to look up these scriptures in your own copy of the bible and see for yourself. Don't just take my word for it! (and a little side note...SORRY I'm a horrible speller LOL)

Your best bet is to either build a robot with a massive sensorium (see Robotic Theories) and a few billion lines of code to figure it out OR enhance your intelligence enough to figure out the answer.

-It is possible. The people who are open-minded enough to recognize it, however, don't typically waste their time thinking about it because they know that there are 'bigger fish to fry.'

Imagine a world without death. Sure, it sounds great, but we simply don't have the resources to holster that many people. We just can't stop procreating, even though we should.

It all boils down to one predicament: We're just too stupid to solve our biggest problems. Those of us who are trying to solve these problems are impeded by the stupid.

-It might also be possible to make an entity of 'pure' energy. This would be by far the most complicated, especially if you want electromagnetic properties (light). If you found a way to 'copy' the contents of your brain and create a network to accurately replicate its functions, it could be possible to consciously control this entity. This is highly complex and could not be explained in a matter of a few text books, but imagine this: You are a 'ball' of energy that flows in a continuous circuit and never dissipates. To travel, you simply make a difference in your own circuit (see Electricity). Now that you have a vague, probably inaccurate (my fault) idea of what this entity would be like, consider UFOs. Ever noticed that most of these UFOs are basically a big ball of light, or electromagnetic energy? If other beings have figured out the universe, what better way to explore it?

What is the fear of growing up?

People often fear what they don't know and you don't know what the future will bring you, so this scares you. It is OK growing up is often scary, but just take it one day at a time. How do you get over your fear of loops on roller coasters?

A couple months ago I went on my first roller coaster, so I know how scary it can be! I would recommend always going with a friend or family member who can ride with you. It helps to ask them questions about the ride if they've been on it before, so you can know more about it. Before you go on a ride, tell yourself it's gonna be okay! You'll have a blast when you're done, trust me. When I got off my first roller coaster I asked myself, 'why was I so scared'? Also, here's what I've heard about why people are scared to go on roller coasters: Your mind is telling you that going so fast and upside down would normally hurt you, so it makes you feel like its dangerous so you wont want to go on it. But if you can look past that fear and realize it's NOT dangerous, it's totally fun!

What is the name for fear of roller coasters?

Well the first thing you should do is ride the kiddie roller coasters first (thunder mountain, space mountain, ect) then work your way up. When youre on an intense coaster and you feel like youre gonna throw up, just scream as loud as you can, it will release some adhrenaline. Also dont close your eyes, that will make the drop worse D: and you should go with a friend whos either been on before or never been on. A good way to prevent feeling sick is to put your feet flat on the ground on the cart and pretend youre using an imaginary steering wheel, "driving" the

coaster. This will make you feel like you have

Control over the cart and will reduce adrenaline. This will help, but its not recommended for you will most likely get in trouble; on the roller coaster, swear like crazy!! This will reduce alot of adrenaline. Hope this helps! :3

How many stairs did the World Trade Center have?

Going up, there are 9 stairs on the first flight and 10 stairs on the second, equating to 19 stairs per floor. As the WTC was 110 stories (minus one because you do not need stairs to the first floor), 109 x 19 = 2,071 Stairs.

In loving memory of the 412 emergency responders who were running in while everyone else was running out. God Bless the USA.
