Passport photos can be printed at home on high quality photographic paper, taken on disk to a local photo store, or printed via photo printing services. Don't pay high costs at passport photo shops. Passport and visa photos to meet the specifications of almost any country can be printed cheaply!

With an image open go to the layers palette and click the new layer icon - it's at the bottom of the palette next to the trash icon (it looks like a sheet of paper with the bottom left corner curled up)

Because you have a great amount of flexibility when working with layers. layers can be edited, added or deleted at any time also can be used for non desctructive corrections which means you are not working directly with pixels.

Have you tried www.cnet.com . Once you're in, search for "free photo shop software". You'll get a list of different software available. Make sure to check it with your virus scann (viruses or spyware may always be an danger). The software there will not always be the best, since they give you promos most of the time, but it won't hurt to check it out.

You cannot get the Adobe Photoshop's Authorization code until unless you buy one.You need to buy the software to get the code.If you use the pirated software it is illegal.If you need a serial key then you need to buy it from the adobe's website.

You need to scan both pictures into a computer and then manipulate the images with something like Photoshop which is an expensive and complicated professional graphics tool.

There are probably other programs that do the same thing, and if you search the web you might find something less expensive or even free. Search under Photo manipulation software, or similar terms.

Photoshop has a wide range of tools, which allow you to manipulate or create your own image. You can crop, rotate, change the colour or style, and plenty more useful tools. It's ideal for touching up photographs. There are different types of selection tools that are great for just editing a certain area. the best way to understand photoshop is to open an image and then play around with each tool individually, and get a feel for what it does. If you need help on a particular tool i can try and explain how it works and what it does. Note: Photoshop works in layers, which are very handy once you've made sense of them. i hope this is of some use :)

An image? then go File > save for web ... choose your settings and this will shrink the size, BUT will also reduce the quality of the saved image.

If its a .PSD (Photoshop) file im unawre of a way to reduce its file size, and to be honest can't think of a reson why you would need to.

I ques question is how to open image in Photoshop to edit it. There are several ways to open image in Photoshop. Most common way:

1. start Photoshop

2. Click on File in top right corner of Photoshop window

3. When drop-down list expands click Open

4. Navigate to image in Open dialog, click on image once then click Open button at bottom right corner of Open dialog

There is the GIMPShop, which is the GIMP, with a modified UI, so that it looks and feels like photoshop, if that's what you are used to, or prefer.

There is also an online program called "Splashup", previously known as "fauxto". It is very similar to Photoshop, but it is only available online and cannot be downloaded for offline use.

(Aviary is in the same boat as Splashup)

Corel Paint Shop is a popular alternative to Photoshop, though it has less features than GIMP or Photoshop.

Also, there is a great site where there is a whole collection of photo-creating and editing software and even music editing software that you can use online. You don't have to download anything.

Command-Option-Shift-T is the Mac version of the Windows command Control-Alt-Shift-T. In general the Mac uses the Command key where Windows uses the Control key.

The easiest and quickest way is by using the Background Color Picker on the floating toolbar.

At the very bottom of the toolbar, there are 2 color squares overlapping each other - the top is the foreground, the bottom is the background. Click on the background and use the eyedropper tool to pick the color you want, or enter the value in the boxes.

You can also set the default background color from the Preferences panel (Edit - Preferences).

Adjustment layers calculate or show you only preview how image will look if you decide to export it with applied adjustment. When using Adjustment layers you are not working with pixels and everything can be changed at any time till image is in PSD format (or layered TIFF). You can change Adjustment later or even delete it without affecting pixels in image in other words same as nothing was happen.

I would say it depends on what you are wanting to edit but I would recommend most Adobe programmes the eg Premiere pro, Premiere Elements, Photoshop anything along those lines.

That question is kind of hard to understand, but I'm assuming you mean which version of Photoshop is the best. That depends on what you want to do with Photoshop. Basically the newest version Adobe Photoshop cs5 is the best one because it's the newest and it's got the most options

size. If you want to simply make it smaller, drag the corners down in paint or any other program you have (you should see a small box with white squares) or you can change this in the options menu. If you want to actually compress your image and make it a smaller file type. I'd try saving your image as a JPEG, this will compress the image and make it smaller (in regards to memory size)

No. Adobe Photoshop is a commercial product. You can, however, download a free trial from Adobe's website. If you need a free and permanent solution, look into another editing program, such as GIMP.

You can save from Photoshop in many formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF. Difference is because TIFF can save layers, PDF can save vector data while JPEG and PNG can save only flat image or only pixels. There are and many other formats to save or export image from Photoshop but usually people work and save all their images in PSD format because this format supports all Photoshop capabilities and can keep most of them as editable. Off course when you need image for Web you will save it usually as JPEG to post it but keep original always and my advise is to keep it in PSD format on your computer.
