There are other factors that could cause you to have these symptoms. My best advice is to speak with your doctor and have them do a pelvic exam so that you may be placed on medication that is safe for you and your baby. If not just be patient and let your cycle get back on track. Also, try and stay away from anything stressful this can also cause your period to be late. The pregnancy test could have been a false positive (although rare) have been known to happen. If you are still unsure you could always wait a week and test again.

Firstly, are you eating a balanced and healthy diet and are you taking any prescribed or non prescribed drugs? Sometimes you do not have a period if there is malnutrition, stress, etc.

Secondly, I'm assuming you have taken pregnancy tests which are negative? You need a blood test to check your HcG and iron levels.

Thirdly, you should get your doctor to refer you for a scan as you may have poly-cystic ovaries or maybe even an ectopic pregnancy (although this will normally show up as pregnant on a urine test).
