Doctors determine how far along you are by the first day of your last menstrual period. If you can remember the first day of your last menstrual period, then start to count from then to now. If you don't remember the first day of your last menstrual period, then you should get an ultrasound done and they will tell you. It's good to get ultrasounds done early in your pregnancy.

I got one dark line and one very faint line I could barely see. Went and bought a digital test, POSITIVE, can't mistake that. This was also taken 4 days before my missed period and in the middle of the day after being deluted with water in my urine. Go get one of those tests to be sure, don't be discouraged if its neg you still could be.

It varies from person to person. I am on 50mg Clomid and am having only very mild hot flashes. I know people who experienced extreme irritability, hot flashes and hostile cervical mucous. I am not far enough to know what my cervical mucous will be, or even IF I will ovulate yet. Basically the only way you can know what side effects you will get, is to take the medication. PLEASE NOTE that if you are taking it unprescribed this is dangerous! You could be taking a drug that is not really what you think it is. Or you could take too much and cause issues. Even with the right doseage there is a chance for hyperstimulation of your ovaries. This is painful and can be very dangerous!!!! The doctor will advice you when he prescribes it to you after you have a positive pregnancy test. Just having your period a week delayed does not mean you are pregnant.

I had a dream 4wks ago that I was sitting on the loo at work with a positive test in my hand. when I woke up I did a test and it was positive I am sure it was the body letting me know. we had been trying for 3 and half yrs and had just given up hope. it is possible for a home pregnancy test to detect the pregnancy hormone 8 days after conception. if you test too soon, it could read negative but you may actually be pregnant. it is safer to wait 14 days because after 8 days, the hormone may not be strong enough to detect!

i think you should retest in a week or 2 because their may not be enough pregnancy hormone to show a positive. we r on the same boat cuz i had intercourse right on my fertile peek and i had a super super light period when i am always heavy i didn't even have to use a tampon or pad just light spotting when i wiped, and back aches and light cramping are first signs of pregnancy like when your about to start your period. i have all the symptoms 2 and i took a test and it came out negative 2. good luck

A HCG level of 25 is positive. But its a low positive. Based on the tests done it sounds like you was pregnant but had a early miscarriage. Im very sorry sweetheart. See your doctor for a repeat HCG blood test.

If you take a test, it picks up the hormone very easily. If there is no pregnancy to detect it will not leave a single mark on that darn stick. If, however, there is a faint line, bold line, thick line, skinny line, any kind of line whatsoever, color/hue whatever! you are pregnant! CONGRATS :)

Yes - mine just did. Apparently if the urine gets into the "splash" area the test won't read at all. I'm waiting til I have to pee again.

You can take a pregnancy test up to 3 days before your missed period. If you spotted a little it could be implantation bleeding where the egg implants into the uterus, this usually happens around the 6-10 days after intercourse.

I would be inclined to believe the pregnancy test, but take another one to be sure.
