What muslims believe about Muhammad?

In the bible, it is stated that there will be another prophet after Jesus (Isa Peace Be Upon Him). His name wold be Ahmad (the Praised one).

FYI: Prophet Muhammad had many names. Ninety-nine names, to be precise.

Additional Comments:

The verse alluded to above is when God had told Moses that someday He would send another prophet to Israel, "and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him" (see Deuteronomy 18:18). In the New Testament, we are told that Jesus was the prophet who fulfilled that prophecy (see Acts 3:20-25 and 7:34-40).

When did Muhammad appear?

What was Prophet Muhammads first job?

he used to care the herd.

To the best of my knowledge, the prophet's first job was as a shepherd who looked after the sheep He said " every prophet worked as a shepherd......". This is because taking care of the sheep develops the ability to take care of the humans afterwards.

What do you have to do to be a Muslim?

First you have to believe sincerely that there is only One God and Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the messenger of Allah (God). Then you say the shahada (declaration of faith) "I testify that there is no God but God and Muhammad is the messenger of God." Ashahu ana la ilah ila Allah WA ashadu ana Muhammad Rasool ila".

if your going to believe in Islam you need to follow it you cant just say you re a Muslim you have to believe it you have to read the quran and pray but being a Muslim isn't just about praying or reading your quran you have to be honest and sincere and loyal to Islam in the quran it says if a man doesn't pray 5 times in a day they are a non religion we spend 1 hour approximately on praying the rest on to our business's. the only reason Allah created humans was so that they could worship Allah.

Was Prophet Muhammad educated?

No, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) couldn not read or write that is a sign of his prophethood. Because he brought such a book which is full of scientific facts which were unknown to scientists 1400 years ago such as:

The Big Bang Theory

The exanding Universe

The Uniqueness of Finger Tips

The Water Cycle

Moon's light is reflected light

The Sun will extinguish

Darkness in the Depth of Ocean

The Flight of Birds

Foetus protected by 3 veils

Pain Receptors in the Skin

ALIENS IN THE UNIVERSE (God said you humans are not alone in the universe 1400 years ago!!!!)

and many more discoveries. Quran is not the book of science but the book of SIGNS. Because its the final book to humnity since human beings are getting progressed in Science that's why God Almighty sent such a book which can be believed and suppose to believe.

ANOTHER ANSWER:

The prophet Mohammed pbuh was an "ummi"(illiterate).

that time nobody was educated , (except the rich and the priests ,etc).

Mohammad pbuh had no parent, was a sheep tender, and was not so much in the "city".

Now you can ask who wrote the Quran (if it is not mohammed pbuh)?

Remember that the prophet pbuh always (when a revalation/inspiration came) he first repeated it so many times as he needed to memorise the verse or chapter.

dictated the revalation/inspiration (slow and clearly) to the people around him,

and immediately they started writing it down (and others memorise it).

The prophet always asked after they had written it down to dictate what they had written down (or memorised).

If it was fault, he then asked to write it down again and began to dictate the verse/inspiration again, if it was good he would say that it is good.

After a few wars many Muslims could write and read, because of the prisoners of war. They could get freedom back if they learned ten Muslims to write and read.

When Muhammad pbuh was on his deathbed, he gave order to write the quran, But Umar ibn Khattab ra said, no we have something betters (all the writings of it on a safe place and it is in our memory). Maybe Umar was scared that it would be a to difficult/ to heavy for the prophet pbuh because of his state (he pbuh was very sick) .

But it was Uthmaan ra that collected all the quran pieces, and made of it a book. Many quran hafiz(memorisers) of that time came to him from everywere (Arabic countrys) and they checked the quran. After they all agreed that there was nothing edited or incomplete. He pronounced to all the people that the quran is now in "book-form" available.

sahih bukhari Volume 5, Book 58, Number 155:Narrated Qatada:Anas said, "The Quran was collected in the lifetime of the Prophet by four (men), all of whom were from the Ansar: Ubai, Muadh bin Jabal, Abu Zaid and Zaid bin Thabit." I asked Anas, "Who is Abu Zaid?" He said, "One of my uncles."

7:16

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

7:17

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

7:18

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Read the Holy Bible...Believe in Jesus what he said see Bible- John 16:5

But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

16:6

But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart.

16:7

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

16:8

And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

16:9

Of sin, because they believe not on me;

16:10

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

16:11

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

16:12

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

16:13

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

16:14

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

16:15

All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you

Jesus says about a upcoming man who speaks what the wrong and what the right.

We know that After Jesus Prophet Mohammed came.He said what is wrong and what is right.Believe what Jesus said...

There are some sayings of Jesus this : Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me. John 14:6

but the above passages are the additions in bible by man. Because we now know that how big is this universe and earth is nothing in front of universe. Islam says that God is the creator of this universe so that if god came to this small earth the earth will deform.

You can believe what Jesus said AND believe Islam. God bless you.

How did prophet Muhammad marry Khadijah?

The most important gain was that she was a woman who truly loved him, and he loved her. They had six children.

Sure he didn't accept to marry her for her wealth for the following reasons:

# The reputation of Muhammad was well know in Makkah (or Mecca) and was known as the wise, trustful, the honest. # khadija, through work with him, recognized how he is honest, faithful, and trustful. # Although he was poor money wise but he was from the most famous family in Makkah (or Mecca) and his grandfather had very reputation and was rich in money and character # Khadija understood that he would be an important figure among Arabs as one of her slaves told her about the miracles happened to him during his trading trip to the currently called Syria and Lebanon. # He didn't ask her for marriage but she was the one that asked to marry him. # He recognized through working with her that she is well minded and wise enough to be his wife. # He didn't use her money neither for himself nor for her but distributed this money as charity for the poor. When Mohammed reported that he had been terrified in Hiraa cave when he saw Jibreel, Khadija was the one who encouraged him and supported him by saying ''Allah would never let you down, you help the poor, and honor your relatives so fear nothing''. She introduced him to her cousin who had converted to Christianity, Waraqa Ibn Nawfal who let him calm down and explained to him his fate, he said: I wish I'd be strong when they will expel you out of Makkah! Prophet Muhammad exclaimed: would they expel me?! Waraqa replied: yes, no one came with what you came with but had enemies. He told him that if he would be alive he would support him in spreading his religion of Islam.

So, prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) gained a big heart that stood firmly besides him.

What was Muhammad's Hijra?

Answer His flight from Mecca Ten years after Muhammad began his mission, his followers were still a minority in Mecca - being terribly oppressed by the ruling tribe there. A group of men and women in another city had heard about the Prophet's message. In their city was a tribe of Jews who always spoke of the coming of a prophet, which they soon expected. When Muhammad came along, those men and women from the city of Yathrib came to a place near Mecca to meet him. They believed in him and swore allegiance to him. So Muhammad and his followers migrated from Mecca to Yathrib - which was renamed 'Medinah' by the Prophet. His migration there, and the setting-up of the first Islamic State - is called the "Hijrah", or "Migration".
