Did Prophet Muhammad married bibi khadija Pbuh for livelihood or coz she was rich?
Answer 1
No He (pbuH) didn't marry her because she was rich. Prophet Muhammad pbuH was 25 years old, and Bibi Khaidjah was 40 years old when they married.
It was bibi Khadijah who requested Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to marry her. She was aware of who He (pbuh) was, because one of her slaves observed the miracles happened in the trade in Sham.
For better understanding, let's first suppose that, He (pbuH) married her because she was rich (Haashaa WA kallaa).
Then if this was His purpose of marriage, then He should use those goods and chattles. But on the contrary we observe that, after a while there was nothing even to eat in Muhammad's (pbuh) house. Not because they used them, but because they shared everything they had to the poor. And this was with Muhammad's (pbuh) request, and bibi Khadijah's agreement.
As you see, He didn't marry her because she was rich, but married her because she requested Him to marry her. And He (pbuh)was 25 yrs old.
Answer 2
Muhammad never mentioned the reason why he married Khadija. Until the day we learn to read the minds of people who are long dead, we shall never know for certain what his motive was.
Whenever a poor person marries a rich one, people will suspect that the poor person was motivated by greed. When the rich person is much less attractive physically, e.g., is significantly older, the suspicion becomes stronger. And when the couple have not had much chance to get to know each other (Muhammad and Khadija had only known each other a few weeks when she proposed), the suspicion becomes stronger still.
So far, it looks bad for Muhammad. But there are a few other points we have to make.
First, Muhammad had recently suffered a romantic disappointment. He had wanted to marry his cousin, who was just as poor as she was, but her father had prevented it. So we know that he was not specifically looking for a rich woman to marry: he would have settled for a poor one if he liked her enough. So perhaps he would have married Khadija even if she hadn't been rich. We don't know.
Second, it is not certain that Khadija was in fact a "much older woman". Her nephew Hakim said she was 15 years older than Muhammad, but other people who knew them said she was only three years older. If Khadija and Muhammad were close to the same age, then it's very possible that he found her physically attractive, and that this was part of his reason for marrying her.
Third, although Muhammad and Khadija weren't exactly close friends, they had spent some time talking business together. So this was not in the same category as marriage to a total stranger. Given how well their marriage turned out, it's probably safe to say that he already liked her.
When Khadija proposed, I doubt Muhammad stopped to analyse exactly why he was accepting. The offer was too good to refuse for all kinds of reasons.
Sure he didn't marry her for being rich for the following reasons:
# The reputation of Muhammad was well know in Makkah (or Mecca) and was known as the wise, trustful, the honest. # khadija, through work with him, recognized how he is honest, faithful, and trustful. # Although he was poor money wise but he was from the most famous family in Makkah (or Mecca) and his grandfather had very reputation and was rich in money and character # Khadija understood that he would be an important figure among Arabs as one of her slaves told her about the miracles happened to him during his trading trip to the currently called Syria and Lebanon. # He didn't ask her for marriage but she was the one that asked to marry him. # He recognized through working with her that she is well minded and wise enough to be his wife. # He didn't use her money neither for himself nor for her but distributed this money as charity for the poor.
What did the prophet Prophet Muhammad fear?
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.w.) feared Allah alone. However, it was a scary experience for him when the angel Jibrael transferred on a revelation but you can't actually say he(pbuh) feared it because he(pbuh) considered it his duty and, as his wife told him in the beginning of prophethood, he(pbuh) knew no danger would befall him.
Which date does Muhammad tell his wife about the voice in the cave?
He told her on the same day it happened, i.e. sometime in August 610.
Most of the Sahaabah were of the view that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not see Allaah with his eyes on the night of the Miraaj.
It was narrated that 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: "Whoever told you that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw his Lord was lying. He said that no vision can grasp him [cf. al-An'aam 6:103]…"
(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Tawheed, 6832).
It was narrated that Abu Dharr said: "I asked the Messenger of Allaah(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), 'Did you see your Lord?' He said, ' He is veiled by Light, how could I see Him.'" (Narrated by Muslim, al-Eeman, 261).
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbaas said: " 'The (Prophet's) heart belied not what he saw, and indeed he saw Him at a second descent.' [al-Najm 53:11-12] (This means that) he saw Him twice with his heart." (Narrated by Muslim,al-Eemaan, 258).
When do you have to say 'peace be upon him'?
when we name any prophet we should say peace be upon him; abbreviated as PBUH
You mean the series finale. I think anyone who doesn't drink, smoke or swear.
