I have both epilepsy and a type of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. For the epilepsy I take the 500mg depakote. I also take the 1mg risperdal pill for controlling my attitude and help prevent anxiety. Taking both together gives me no problems with them interacting together. Another medication I'm on for anxiety is the 20mg pill Lexapro and it has no interactions with the other 2. To be sure that your medications are safe together though, make sure that all your doctors know what drugs you are on, and ask them about possible side effects.

Well I guess not everyone was so lucky not to suffer from this drug, I took this drug between the years of 1997 to 2001, not only did I suffer from everyone of the side-effects, but some of them are still with me today. Abilify increases the effectiveness of certain drugs that work on your nervous system and brain. So no. I took darvocet and abilify and ended up having odd OCD type of thoughts and had so much nervous energy w/a broken bone. Not good.

hi Prozac is the same as most drugs in this catogary and can be traced in your urine for up to 3 to 4 weeks from the day you stop taking it though as it is perscribed for mild depression you could say oh i was drpressed and was given Prozac by by my gp tried it for a few days and it did not agree with me so i didnt continue taking it so you may find a trace in my urine as they cannot from a urine sample exactly how long ago you have taken it or how much they can see if its just leaving your system known as a trace it in good news is if it was taken a few weeks ago as this will calabrate your story it may just show a trace to if taken just a few days before to so this can sometimes be convienient if you want some1 to bealieve you are not using anymore sometimes its just best to be honest specially if your perscribed them or depressed

There is no known interaction between cipro and cymbalta. So you *should* be fine. Note that cymbalta is pretty new, and it's had a checkered past with the FDA, so you really should be having this chat with your doctor who, in turn, should be watching you pretty closely, as cymbalta has quite a few physiological side-effects. This is one I'd very much avoid self-medicating with.

Honestly, I've been on Cymbalta now for just over a year, and also have a history of urinary problems which often are improved with Cipro. That said, I was told by my doc never to take cymbalta with cipro as the cipro can increase the effect of the cymbalta markedly (by about 2-3 times). With all of that out of the way - this week I was prescribed cipro for another urinary infection and discussed the potential for interaction with my pharmacist. He told me to take the cymbalta every 2-3 days (I feel like hell without it after ONE day, honestly), and continue as normally for the full seven day course of the cipro. I can live with that - I just wish someone would come up with a better option.

you will probably feel tired as xanax is a tranquilizer, not sure about the effects of mixing the too, so i would ask your doctor

You should only take your prescription medications as prescribed by your physician. However, 1mg of xanax is still not that high of a dosage, so if you were to take another 0.5mg, I don't see any reasons why you would have any problems.

I have been on Prozac for 8 years. I quit cold turkey a month ago and still have brain zaps and fatigue. My withdrawl symptoms were bad the first week and then gradually got better. Week 3 was good as far as the withdrawls were very mild. And, now in week 4 the withdrawls are extreme. My brain zaps are strong, but only when I move my head from side to side.

Everything I have read states that withdrawl symptoms can last up to 3 months. I pray that I get better soon. I must say that even with the withdrawls, I am still happy to be off Prozac. I feel like a new man!

I would'nt, I know of several people who have overdose on this med., myself being one of them, I wasn't taking it regularly and then took my reg.dose to sleep and was out of it for 24 hours!!! If you do take it for sleep, take a fraction of your precribed dose or you'll be sorry!
