Is it a form of amnesia if in an argument one insists in correctness of A against B but later on they believes that they had believed in B and not A?

ANSWER

its more like selective amnesia by the sounds of it.

the likelyhood is that it would not be amnesia because of the fact that they only forget things when they are wrong!(if this is what they are doing and not forgetting other things)

this is selectively forgetting that they gave the wrong answer when they were proven to be wrong

simply because they dont want to be wrong.

they dont want the other person to be right

or they dont want anyone knowing they were wrong, its mostly likely to be pride related.

most people will just accept they were wrong, and be a little embaraced, these people will usually show signs of being very argumentative when you put this to them and will more often than not not back down..

you can not argue with this person, because there is no real proof of what was said except both of your opinions, and this person is more concerned with their own opinion and being right than what was actually said .

if more than 2 people are involved it would be easier to convince this person they were wrong, but again they may well be likely to argue black and blue to everyone they were right.

theres not much you can do here im afraid the only choices i cant think of is to walk away and say 'whatever, its their problem' and be happy with the knowledge you know you were right and accept the person as they are or tell the person you think they have a problem and see what they say, but the person is unlikely to respond well to this 'accusation' as that is part of their problem.

its problably going to have to be up to them to notice, accept and change it.

but this is not a problem with the brain, its a problem with the person and their pride!

Combining 200 mg of Lamictal, 60 mg of Buspar, and 40 mg of Prozac can be effective for some individuals with bipolar II disorder, as Lamictal helps stabilize mood, while Prozac can address depressive symptoms. Buspar is often used for anxiety, which can be beneficial in managing co-occurring anxiety symptoms. However, individual responses to medication can vary widely, so it's essential to work closely with a healthcare provider to monitor effectiveness and adjust dosages as needed. Always consult a doctor before making any changes to medication.

How does a proto-oncogene differ from an oncogene?

A proto-oncogene is a normal gene that helps regulate cell growth and division, while an oncogene is a mutated form of a proto-oncogene that promotes uncontrolled cell growth, leading to cancer. Proto-oncogenes can become oncogenes through mutations that cause them to be constantly activated or overexpressed.

What do Proto-oncogenes regulate?

Proto-oncogenes stop cells dividing too often. When a mutation occurs to proto-oncogenes this is when cancer can occur, as there is then no hay-flick limit (normally cells have a limit to how many times then can divide) cells are able to replicate uncontrollably.

What amino acid is known as 'nature's Prozac'?

Tryptophan is often referred to as 'nature's Prozac' because it is a precursor for serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that plays a role in regulating mood and promoting feelings of well-being. Increasing tryptophan levels through diet can potentially have a positive impact on mood.

What are three genetic changes that can convert proto-oncogenes to oncogenes?

  1. Point mutations: Single nucleotide changes can lead to constitutive activation of proto-oncogenes.
  2. Gene amplification: Duplication of proto-oncogene sequences can increase gene expression levels, leading to oncogenic transformation.
  3. Chromosomal translocations: Rearrangements can cause fusion of a proto-oncogene with a new promoter region, resulting in abnormal activation.

Prozac is an antidepressant that must be prescribed by a physician.

Can you drink coffee when taking Prozac?

I would advise VERY strongly against it. Prozac increases your sensitivity to caffeine. I was on only a 20mg a day dose of it, and would get very shaky if I had more than a couple of caffeinated sodas per day.

One day I wanted a boost for a workout and made the mistake of taking a 5 hour energy shot, thinking that it would be safe since it advertising it doesn't make you as jittery as energy drinks. It was a horrifying experience... I was trembling horribly, nauseous... just felt terrible.

It is possible to overdose on caffeine... people think because they buy something in a store it is safe... that is not always the case. Especially when taking daily meds, you have to me conscious about what you put into your body. There is a laundry list of things prozac and other SSRI's conflict with... heck, one night I needed to take cough syrup, and called a pharmacist, and she advised against mixing the two...

So yeah, be careful... if you are married to the idea of taking an energy drink, then that should be the ONLY caffeine you have that day, but even then, it is not a good idea.
