You can, but you're better off using Silvadene cream (Silver Sulfadiazine) as it's typically used in ER's and prescribed for both 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Works well, keeps the area moist and protected, helps promote fast healing (anti-bacterial properties)

Their urine is too acidic. If you are giving your child apple juice or orange juice then water it down or don't give it to them for awhile. You can use Lanocane to help calm the soreness and redness down or, put 1 full cup of Epsom salts into tempid bath water and have your child sit in that for 20 minutes to 1/2 an hour. Epson Salts is a wonderful thing (doesn't sting) and is good for bad sunburns as well. You may have to ask the druggist where the Epson Salts are in the store. Keep it handy! It's also good for aching muscles and sore feet.

Hydrocortizone cream is safe to put on a shingles rash. You can also get prescription Lidocane from you doctor to apply.

Avoid Benadryl as it can cause the rash to worsen in some people. Also avoid Bagbalm as it causes a burning sensation.

Unfortunately I had a rash, it was from an allergic reaction. The best way is to go to the doctors find out what has caused it and then take the cream/medicine (whatever) they prescribed you. It will go away in a few days. The best thing to do it not scratch. It's hard, but the thing is if it bleeds - nasty infection, don't want that (: And also it hurts and stuff afterwards so just try not to itch. Urmmm that's all the advice I can give.

A red rash around your mouth could be rosacea, hormonal changes, an allergic reaction or a reaction to constant lip licking.

Apply vaseline at night and check with your dermatologist if it persists.

I was prescribed triamcinolone acetonide to use WITH an over the counter anti fungal cream (like clotrimazole) to cure my athlete's foot. I was getting severe, scarring fungal infections that the anti fungal creams would not cure. The Triamcinolone stops the itching and burning, as well as the swelling which allowed the anti fungal cream to work much more effectively and quicker.

Irriation from your razor, it could be time for a new one, or better shaving cream, also you could be shaving too much.

I've seen a few via internet searches, and I personally have had reactions to Polypropylene, so I know firsthand that it can happen. I haven't had a formal allergy test yet though.

Allergic reactions to Meds are tricky. Obviously its best to consult a Physician ASAP for their opinion. My daughter had a reaction to ammoxicilin and it took a few days for the swelling and rash to go away. The medicine stays in your system longer then you realize. Some people need steroids to reduce swelling and an antihistamine like Benydryl. Its safe to say that you need to give it a few days for the fluid of the swelling to go away and back to normal. Keep antihistamines in your purse (or if a guy, in your pocket or vehicle at all times.) Benadryl is the best and for adults two caps (25 mgs. each) are what you should take. It takes only 10 to 15 minutes for the swelling to go down, but if you've left it for a long time it may take longer. DO NOT DRIVE A VEHICLE OR MACHINERY WHILE TAKING ANTIHISTIMINES. Benadryl is given in hospitals (I know because I had a reaction to a medication) and is harmless to you. It will probably make you sleepy.

Well...it's been a full week and my legs, from ankles to knees, still look like they've been dipped into hot oil!!!  At least the dripping - ooozing has stopped and the scabbing can begin.  Get aloe vera juice in a bottle from the health store. Refrigerate it so it is very cold. Then apply to your face or wherever the rash occurs. Apply as often as needed. The juice cools the itchyness and helps dry out the rash. It takes me a week to get rid of the rash. Also take an alleergy tablet. The antihistamine helps keep it in check.

Firstly you should rule out eczema. I have eczema like rashes that seem to ONLY fill in my tattoo area...Doctors have told me it is not related to the tattoo, however, I have read about people being allergic to types of ink. You will more than likely have a difficult time getting answers as tattoo shops will not provide info (or limited) and doctors seem to be less versed on these issues but do ask.

Try Tea Tree Oil. You can get this at any health food store, Walgreen's, and generally pharmacies will carry this also. It's 100% natural and has been used for generations to sooth and remedy rashes of all sorts. I also used the soap as well, although I'm not sure what good the soap did. Also, MOISTURIZE with no scents or fragrances and preferably hypoallergenic.

I would say no, because one would have to determine if the chest bump was done with any type of aggravation and intent to commit a battery. This chest bump would also have to be done to bring harm to the other person. Mens rea and Actus reus.

Has her shampoo been changed lately? If it really starts to bother her, take her to the doctor to make sure she does not have head lice. Alot of children catch it by being around other children who have it or they catch it at school, daycare, etc. Good luck:)

Probably a staphylococcal infection -- the bacteria can usually be found under your finger nails -- or you may be a permanent "nose" carrier. I have had the same issues for many years, my mom complained about them so I figured they were hereditary.

Anyway, my primary care doctor prescribed an anti-bacterial topical cream which I use whenever they become too painful. Usually knocks them out within a few days when I use the topical 1-2 times/day.

The drug name is "Bactroban Cream."

A medical professional would need to diagnose the sudden appearance of red spots on the arm and torso. If the red spots are appearing in the same places, even if there is not itching, there is probably an allergic reaction to something that has been eaten or applied to the skin.

It will depend upon the types of bumps that are on your toddler. It could be eczema and medication may be needed from a physician.

Yes. It isn't a rash though it is from pressure when you throw up. It can appear as small purplish red freckles or groups of them. CPAP mask wearers sometimes get it because the blood cannot flow easily because of the mask pressure so it pools around the eyes. I can't find the proper medical spelling for it but it is pronounced

"pet-TIT-ee-ah". They are akin to broken capillaries. It will pass in a day or so. No worries. It is also a symptom found in a choking or strangulation.
