Why refregirator freezers are on top?
Actually, you can get refrigerator freezers in both configurations. From what I was told the original configuration had the freezer on bottom. This was because you had to buy big cubes of ice to keep things cold and you didn't have to lift the block as high and the melting block didn't get everything wet.

How long can canned cranberry sauce last in the fridge?
You could keep an unopened can in the refrigerator for several month or possibly longer. I'd still use the "best by" date on the can as a guide for shelf life. Keep an eye on the condition of the can because the increase in humidity could make the can start to rust.

How do you fix a refrigerator?
First, check if the power source is working and the refrigerator is properly plugged in. If it's still not working, make sure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the coils and check the door seals for any damage. If the issue persists, it may require professional repair.
Why a refrigerator doesn't cool food inside it?
The room and the refrigerator are a closed system. The fridge, being a machine, has efficiency which is less than 1. Therefore it creates more "waste" energy which is released into the room than it cools the insides of the fridge.
How do you fix a refrigerator motor?
To fix a refrigerator motor, check for any blocked ventilation, clean the condenser coils, and ensure the motor is powered on. If the motor still does not work, consider replacing it or consult a professional technician for further assistance.

How many volt amps are required to run a refrigerator?
There is no easy answer to this.
Firstly, it depends on the fridge. Obviously a huge double-door refrigerator will consume a lot more energy than a tiny bar fridge.
Also, they only consume a lot of energy when the compressor is running. The compressor will turn on when the thermostat (ie: temperature sensor) shows that the temperature inside the fridge has gone up too far. How quickly this happens (and how often) will depend the temperature outside the fridge, compared to what temperature you've set the dial to inside.
So, a fridge will consume far less energy on a Winter's night, than it would in the middle of a hot Summer's day. And it will consume more energy the lower you set the temperature dial, because it has to work harder to keep the fridge colder.
Having said all of that, an average 16 cubic-foot frost-free fridge has a consumption rate of around 700 watts. But, it might only be operating at the full 700 Watts, say, 20% of the time. So, your power consumption in that case would be 140 watts per hour, or 0.14 KWh (kilowatt-hours - the correct term for power consumption).
Generally, for a new fridge in the store, you can look at the sticker on the fridge, which will tell you its consumption rate in KWh. Or, if it's an old fridge you already own and the stickers are all gone, you could buy a power consumption meter from the hardware store. Basically, you unplug the fridge (oven, TV, whatever), plug in the meter, then plug the fridge into the meter. Run it for a couple of days, and the meter will tell you how much power your device has been consuming.
To further complicate things, the wattage rating actually depends on the power source used. In America, you have 110 volts, whereas in Australia, for example, the voltage is 240. This actually changes the wattage calculation, so the same fridge will have difference consumption ratings in different countries. The 700 watt example above was obtained from the US Department of Energy, so it applies to a 110-volt power supply.
I told you there was no easy answer!!!
What is the electrical voltage from the house outlet to the power supply?
The average voltage a house outlet will give actually depends on how far of a distance the house is from a transformer on the pole. If the house is fairly close to the transformer, it will probably give around 120 volts. However, if the house is a bit far from the transformer, it will probably give around 107 volts.
How evaporator in a refrigerator is made?
Most likely made by a robot machine. IE: more better it is maybe 30 feet of small copper or aluminum tubing wound in a back and forth coil pattern to fit the required area in the freezer. Metal fins may be attached to help move the cold into the freezer as air is blown over the coil.
Where is the cooling element in a fridge?
Cold air is denser that warm air, so putting it at the top allows the cold air to fall downwards, displacing any warmer air back towards the cooling element. It sort of maintains a certian degree of circulation and helps keep the temperature more even. If the cooling element was at the bottom, the cold air would just stagnate in the bottom, while warmer air might still be present near the top of the refrigerator.
How many watts a refrigerator requires?
Original answer:
3600 watts
Updated answer:
That depends on the tag that is affixed to the refrigerator. Each refrigerator will require a different current, and therefore the amount of load will vary between models. For U.S. homes, a dedicated circuit is not required so most "normally-sized" refrigerators will require less than 12 amps (80% of 15 amps in a 15-amp 120 volt circuit) or less than 1440 watts. Larger or commercial refrigerators may require more than that, but for most homes, 1440 watts is a safe maximum for a refrigerator.
