Where is the air filter on a Renault clio 1.4 16v dynamique?

At the right hand side towards the rear of the engine. To access, disconnect the pipe to the air box (just twists a few degrees). Un-hook the rubber clip holding this in place. Then pull the whole of the air box to the right hand side. It should come away from the engine. Now look at the side of the engine where it came from. It'll be a flat panel filter. (instructions from memory so sorry if I've missed some clips etc.)

Your Renault clio interior light wont turn off?

Check that a door sensor isn't broken. When you are in the car and all the doors are closed and the car is on, check if the light on the dashboard that signals that a door is open is lit. If it is the sensor switch will need to be fixed on whichever door is broken.

On the second generation Clio, the interior light can be switched between the main light and a movable spotlight. Carefully moving the switch to between the two modes will turn off the interior light.

How do you change a Renault Clio drive shaft?

hi there. huggydan@yahoo.co.UK.

to change a drive shaft on a clio...

first undo the centre bolt on the drive shaft.this will be in the middle of the weel and will need to be done whilst the car is on the ground as it will be vft..then carefully jack the car on the sill checking it doesnt bend, also use an axle stand for security..

remove the wheel.

undo the pinch bolt on the bottom arm.

using a large bar, pry down on the arm, (the bar should lock in some where.) and at the same tap the bottom ball joint with a hammer, the hub should the separate from the bottom arm,

pull the hub/mcphearson strut outwards.leaving the drive shaft behind because you have all ready undone the drive shaft nut..

with a clean drain tray under the gear box.pull on the drive shaft firmly and the shaft should pop out..then the gear box oil will drain into the container..

install new shaft in reverse order been carefull not to crimp the seal on the gear box as this will result in an oil leak..

once the shaft is installed. with a filler on the top of the gear box.carefully poor the drained oil back in to the gearbox..

ok, good luck.and if you get stuck please email me. ...danni...

How do you remedy high idle on a 1996 Mitsubishi eclipse?

Is it a constant high idle? First place to look is the throttle wire connecting to the throttle body. It should be tight, but not pulling the throttle plates out of alignment. also might want to consider the grade of fuel you're using (sometimes a fuel system cleaner additive can help).
