If you have the code to disable the immobilizer, put it in then press the button to unlock the doors until you hear it click three times remove the key and point towards the receiver above rearview mirror and press button on key very quickly ( has to get three good signals) then key should work normally. You may have to try this a number of times but each time the immobilizer MUST have kicked in needing you to put in the code

It is a combined fuse number F6 that also does the stereo. You will find it in the glovebox fuse panel on the MK2 or on the MK1 it is below to the right on the drivers side.

leave the wiper stalk/control set down one stop from off when you switch off the engine, it will then work automatically when it rains and the engine is running

hi remove door panel remove regulator and motor you'll find that the clips probely broke get one off eBay replace and reassemble and there all working again known fault on renualts

it's the immobilizer that deactivates if you don't swap the batteries over quickly enough, and it's only in some keys, you usually have at least minute or two.

Hi, the colour code for my Scenic can be viewed on the vehicle identification plate which is found on the drivers door sill.
