Will they take your car if file chapter 7?
Here is a layman's answer.
I believe it depends on the company in which you owe money for the car. If say you own a $2000 car and owe about that they may decide it is worth repossesing to try to get the money from the sale of it. However, if they do not believe they will get any money from the car they may not take it.
You really should talk to your lawyer. I believe there are ways to exclude certain loans.
If though you are driving a $60,000 dollar late model car I would not hold out too many hopes on keeping it.

What will happen to a parent bank account if child files for bankruptcy?
The subsidiary can enter into CH11 bankruptcy protection while the parent can remain outside bankruptcy and continue as a going concern. It depends on distribution of the assets and debt tied to both the parent and the subsidiary that can allow the subsidiary to enter into CH11 protection (insolvency where L > A) and be protected by the automatic stay priveleges the federal courts afford, while the parent will continue under its normal course of business and have to make its lenders and creditors whole.
No. A cosigner is not a co-owner of the property simply by signing the loan contract. They must specifically insist that they be added to the title. Otherwise they have promised to pay for property they do not own if the primary borrower fails to pay.

Can a car dealership sell a car thatthe dealership has a deposit on?
yeah i do it all the time, it may sound unethical but its true. Putting a deposit on a car is just a way of locking you in on the sale. on the reciept it will say non refundable and normally will give u 7 days to pay the rest. but if you put that money down and someone comes in 20 mins later with the cash its sold... then the seller will call u back and tell u there is something wrong with the car and you can come back and get ur deposit money. kinda sucks but that's life...

Are there a lot of cars or is there a lot of cars?
The noun, 'lot', can be replaced by 'group' or 'bunch'. There is only one lot. Like you would say "a group of friends is playing", you should say "there is a lot of people here."
The English language disregards how many people are in question in the real life situation. It only regards whether or not the noun is plural or singular. And 'lot' is singular.
However, you could say 'there are lots'.
Can you accept a section 8 voucher in one state while waiting for one in another?
Surprisingly, yes you can! You can be on as many waiting lists you want to be for a Housing Choice Voucher, formerly known as the section 8 voucher. You can wait for in one state while you are holding a voucher in another. This is generally a strategic move because although you have the ability to port a voucher to another state, the Housing Authority that issued your voucher can claim it cannot afford to port you to the other state. This often happens when you want to move from a rural state -- where there is often no transportation system, medical centers, or other convenient facilities -- to a jurisdiction that does have these conveniences but are often more expensive than the rural area from which you want to move.
To port a voucher, the receiving Housing Authority must agree to absorb the costs of such porting or the issuing Housing Authority must agree to be billed by the receiving Housing Authority.
So waiting for another voucher might be a good choice in your case. However, you probably already are aware that you can only hold one voucher at a time, so when the other Housing Authority issues your voucher, you will have to let go of the original voucher. Make sure that you make this transition as smooth as possible (in other words, do not burn the bridges behind the original Housing Authority).
You may want to check with the Housing Authority that has you on their waiting list to see if they will absorb the cost of porting, or check with your issuing Housing Authority to see if they are willing to be billed, so that you may not have to wait on the waiting list anymore.

How can you get a new car if you are filing bankruptcy and you put a car in?
When you said "put a car in," I can only assume you mean chapter 13, since you can't put a car in a chapter 7. If it's a chapter 13, you will need to have your attorney file a Motion to Incur Debt, which is going to take about 60 days to get approved once he files it. The bankruptcy court will have to give you permission to go out and get another car loan, but it can be done, as long as you have a bank willing to extend you credit while you're in chapter 13. If it's a chapter 7, there is a bank that works "exclusively" w/people who are in a "current" chapter 7. They are U.S. Bank, and they have programs that will put you in a car no older than 3 years, as well as other programs for car owners, and you will not be hit w/ridiculous financing charges or a car you can't afford. They will base the amount of car you get on your debt/income ratio, per the bankruptcy. The program is called 722 Redemption. Hope this helps.
