What do pit bulls and rottweilers have in common?
They are very strong. I have a pitbull and rottweiler for pets and they are really strong. They are very playfull too...
The Rottweiler may have descended from the Italian Mastiff (which is now the Neapolitan Mastiff). It was a herding dog in the Middle Ages. The dog, as we know it today, was bred in the German town of Rottweil in Wurttemberg.
The Rottweiler has been used for tracking, herding, watchdog duties, carting, police work, competitive obedience, and schutzhund.
The Rottweiler is a medium large, robust and powerful dog, black with clearly defined rust markings. His compact and substantial build denotes great strength, agility and endurance. He has a broad head with a rounded forehead and a well-developed muzzle. His dark eyes can be friendly or daring. His triangular ears are carried forward. One of the things people find frightening about the Rottweiler is the amount of black - over his body and even inside his mouth. The tail is docked and dewclaws are normally removed. Extremely well-developed musculature is obvious in the jaws, shoulders and hips.
Known for their fierce fighting capabilities when defending their family and property, the Rottweiler is normally a calm, happy, confident dog who loves his family and friends. They love companionship and relish socialization exercises.
However, if not out of stock that has a nice personality and if not socialized and obedience trained at a young age, Rotties can be hard to handle, aggressive, and unreliable. Having been bred for centuries for guard work, the Rottweiler can easily turn aggressive. Their size and strength will make them impossible to hold on leash should they decide to go some place or be aggressive, so obedience to commands is essential.
They can be aggressive with other dogs and should be kept on leashes in public places. When the Rottweiler is consistently brought up and trained, it will be a good playmate for children. It will accept cats and other household pets as long as the dog has had a positive experience with them while it was young. Friends and relatives of the family are normally enthusiastically welcomed. Strangers can get no further than the sidewalk.
Most people are afraid of a Rottweiler, but that is not the correct reaction to have toward them as it puts them on alert. Proper introductions by the owner will put a correctly trained Rottie at ease and pave the way for a long and happy relationship.

Where in the Bible does it refer to a rottweiler as the devils dog?
Nowhere. There is no mention of specific breeds of any animal in scripture, and the thought that any animal created by God is the pet of the devil is lunacy. Remember, Genesis 1:25--"God made the wild animals according to their kinds....And God saw that it was good."
What is good to God cannot serve evil.

How smart are pit bull blue tick hound mix dogs?
I have 2 puppies which are 3/4 blue pit bulldog and 1/4 blue tick hound. They are very smart, but are very strong-willed animals. They're only 14 weeks and are already house trained, fetching, sitting, and catch on very fast to new commands. Again, being pits, they are strong-willed, so sometimes they are disobedient and don't want to do what you're trying to get to, such as coming inside. They told me that they're great hunting dogs. These will never go hunting, so I can't vouch for it. Hope this helps.

As for my own experience, I have two German Rotts. One is a boy who is two years old, and the other is a female who is seven. I know my female was still growing until she was about three to three and a half. Being my first, she was very spoiled, and we always splurged on leather collars from PetSmart for her. When she was around two I know we had her in atleast a 22 inch collar and I think the last time I looked for one she needed a 24. I didn't get one because they were out of stock. Since I have not bought another, but I did put zera's on gotti when he was a puppy and it fit perfectly. Keep in mind he wasn't even a year yet I don't think but to be on the safe side I know for a definite fact he wasn't two yet. I honestly think those sizes wouldn't be large enough for a puppy.
How long do you have to register your pet with AKC?
I'm not really familiar with AKC, as I live in the UK. However, registration is only normally necessary for breeders, when they are breeding pups to sell. Both parents have to be registered, for the pups to qualify for AKC registration, to prove bloodlines etc.
In UK you can still have a pedigree without KC registration, but most are registered from reputable breeders.

Is neutering your male rottweiler to early going to stop his proper growth?
If neutered at too young an age, the puppy may not lift his leg to pee or may attract other males that may want to mate with him. However, if performed on a dog above six months old, there is virtually no risk and the dog will not get testicular cancer or have hyper-sexual behaviour. It also prevents the dog from roaming and getting hit by cars looking for females.

Rottweilers get their name from a farming area in Germany named Rottweil, meaning 'Red Tile'. In the times when romans lived in the region, they used these red tiles to roof their bath houses & buildings. Later in history the town of Rottweil became busy & prosperous and the farmers & butchers used dogs to help with livestock and carry their money bags. They started selectively breeding these 'butcher's dogs' and called them Rottweilers. The name is still with them today.
How much are you supposed to weigh if you are a female of 13 years and 59 inches tall?
As a thirteen year old, your body is changing-sometime rapidly, while other times only a little bit. On average, you should way between 140-160 pounds depending on your height and age of development. Though a thirteen year old can be very self-contious about themselves, being healthy is the most important thing to worry about. Body-type, growth pattern, medical history, and the developmental state of your body all are different factors in how much you should weigh. The best thing to do is to ask your doctor.

How much is a Rottweil 72 American skeet shotgun with tube set worth?
I bought a used Rottweil 72 American Skeet in 2008. It came with 20, 28 and .410 tubes which have been identified as "original" Kolar tubes. I assume that these were part of the original sale. It also came to me in a beat-up John Hall plastic case fitted for the gun and the tube set. The price I paid was $1,400 and I considered a 'good' price. That is until a year and six months later the gun started failing to fire the bottom barrel (or, less frequently, the top barrel) much of the time. I spent about $240 on new firing pins, hammer springs and retractor springs (parts only, no labor). This seemed to fix the problem. For about two weeks! when the problem became worse than ever. I finally sent it off to Laurence Pylinski in W. Virginia who told me that the gun was "off its face" (basically shot out) and needed a "..complete mechanical rebuild." $900 later (I know, I know, a complete ripoff but what'd ya gonna do?) I now have a seemingly perfect skeet gun with a tube set and a crappy case. Oh yeah, and the stock cracked around the time that it started mis-firing so I had a stock guy put a brass screw and some epoxy through the crack. Anyway, these models were a quality guns when they were manufactured. They all have a dropout trigger assembly. Other than that they seem to be solid workhouses. Buyer beware. These guns haven't been sold in the USA since about 1983. If it has a tube set you can bet it was purchased for competition which means that, unless it's been sitting in someone's gun cabinet for 15 years or so, it's probably seen a lot of rounds.
Rottweiler vs pitbull who wins?
It depends on how the two different breeds were trained. If one was trained to be sociable and friendly and the other was trained to be in dog fights, then expect that the latter dog will be more aggressive.
