Yes, you can take them out of the cabinet by loosening two grub screws that hold the machine on two posts. If the machine has a foot control, you are all ready to use it as a table top model. You can also put it in a Kenmore carrying case. Kenmores are a different size than other machines, so they have to go in a Kenmore carrying case or cabinet. If the machine has a knee control and not a foot control, you would need to buy a foot control to fit it. They are available on many websites and ebay.

i recently receivd a jc peney model 6101 serial 50325 sewig machin, no manual, it runs and sounds good. no manual, how can i get a copy of this manual also i can't find out why it sews zig zag and no straight sewing?

The holes in a button are referred to as buttonholes. Buttonholes are designed to allow fabric to pass through them.

Hey, I just figured how to oil it today...there are two little button like things on top of the machine, right next to the place where u fill the bobbin... Take a pin and pop the button out. Then take some wd40 and spray all over inside. Take a lil flash light and look inside to make sure u got all the part. Then u turn the wheel a couple of time to make sure everything is moving well... Leave it for a while maybe like an hour... I hope this helps!! 😊

Fabric stores sale bathing suit lining. It is important that you use this fabric to cover the cup you are sewing in. You can sew the cups in two ways either by machine which takes a little time in aligning all sides of the constructed lining to the original garmet. It is advisable to tack the cup in place and make sure you use cups that are for swimming. Secondly, the cups can be hand sewn, given you still take the same steps as sewing in the cups. Make sure the cups have been place in the bathing suit top while trying it on, this allows for error. Lastly, it is notable to use straight pins to keep all parts of the bra and lining in place as you sew.

This is a very tricky question. When "jeans" were first invented, a variation on the work pants of the day, in 1873, the whole point was to make them extra durable.
