Look in the yellow pages for a gunsmith. If he doesn't have one, he should be able to make a firing pin. Should be an easy and inexpensive fix.

Sometime between 1948 and 1991. Should be worth $200-$250 if it is fully functional but not 100% like new.

It all depends what model you have. For instance I have a M550AD it is worth about $600. Age also afeects the value. Your best bet is to take it to a gun shop. Mark

Looks like 1928. The Blue Book says that 95% of the Parkers bought and sold each year have less than 30% original finish, so unless yours is one of the other 5%, it's worth $1800 according to that guide. If higher grades are that hard to find, I'd expect the price to skyrocket, but a 98% gun lists for just a bit more than twice as much. I think it was in the Standard Catalog that I saw the recommendation that anyone buying or selling a Parker Brothers should get a hands-on appraisal from a recognized expert.

With out knowing the Make,Model,Gauge,and condition I would but the value between $25.00 and $30,000.00

There are some Spanish manufactured shotguns that are true works of art and worth several thousand dollars, but their reputation is spoiled by a lot of cheaply made firearms.

The price of a Scott and Company double barrel shotgun can range from $2500 to $12000. The price is determined by the condition of the gun.

Eastern Arms was a trade name sold by Sears Roebuck. The guns were actually manufactured by several makers, but the "barrel and lug forged in one piece" is a mark found on the Iver Johnson Champion from about 1909-1927, so if you have a single shot, break action gun, that's what it really is. Retail value is probably $50-$75. Firearms don't bring a premium for being mis-stamped.

It's a bit less powerful than a 12GA. Where the "being shot 9 times" may come from is the 9 pellets in one shell.

If it needs a stock and forearm, it's not worth much. If it is a boxlock with fluid steel barrels, fully functional and OK'd by an experienced gunsmith, it would be worth $200+ as a shooter. If it has laminated barrels and side hammers, it might bring $125-$150 as a mantle decoration. Like any other machine 80+ years old, parts are where you find them. Your local gunsmith can probably find wood that will fit or can be made to fit. To be a decorator, it would be enough to repair the existing stocks with Elmer's glue and wood filler if that is possible.

If you really want the Monkey Wards gun, you may have to look for quite a while, but I think if you get into any fair-sized city you should be able to find a Stevens or Springfield at a pawn shop or sporting goods store. You can also search the internet auction sites like Gunbroker and classifieds at Shotgun World.

Both of those names are in the list of old shotguns imported from Belgium c. 1900. Probably sold by Sears Roebuck. Laminated steel barrels should be retired. If it has side hammers, it should bring $125-$150 as a mantle decoration.

This name was used around 1900 by several manufacturers. Various researchers have attributed them to Crescent, Hopkins & Allen, Baker, and Belgian imports. Value will be $50-$75 for a functioning single shot.

I have a complete 90% Crescent 12 ga 100,00 yours..

I believe that this model was made in the early 1960's. I have one and I have been told that depending on condition it's worth around $100-$200. If its in shambles but still fires it should be treasured as a family heirloom. Hope this helped.

Ranger was a trade name used by Sears Roebuck c. 1950. Eastern Arms was also a Sears trade name used on guns by a variety of manufacturers. The "105" prefix appears to indicate that yours was made by Harrington and Richardson, but I cannot find a match for this particular code. To determine the value, you can go to WalMart and find the lowest price they are asking for a new single-shot .410 and take 1/3 to 1/2 off for the value of a used gun. You'll probably come up with a figure between $125 and $175.

"Twist" refers to a method of barrel manufacture. Thin wires were twisted together then wrapped around a mandrel and hammer-welded. Although these were quite satisfactory in the days of black-powder shells, they are generally not safe with modern ammunition. HOWEVER, when machine manufacturing made fluid and cast steel barrels possible, not everyone trusted this new-fangled (and cheaper) technology, so some manufacturers "painted" them with a pattern imitating the older methods. The "Finish" may mean that these are really fluid steel barrels that have been "finished" to imitate the appearance of twist construction.

The Ranger name was used by Sears Roebuck in the 1940's and 50's. I don't show your exact model number in my cross-reference lists, but 103.x was marked on their firearms made by Marlin.

According to Brophy in his Book on Marlin Firearms, Sears used the Ranger name prior to WWII on the gun that Marlin sold as the Model 90 o/u shotgun starting in 1937. After WWII Sears used the JC Higgins name on the gun.
