Did Hannibal Barca have any siblings?
He had two brothers --Hasdrubal who commanded the Carthiginian armies in Spain while Hannibal was in the Roman mainland.
Mago (the youngest of his siblings) accompanied Hannibal in the war in Rome but left him for Carthage after the battle of Cannae. He was to return with reinforcements from Carthage, but this never happened. Carthage instead sent reinforcements to Hasdrubal in Spain.
Hannibal would never see his brothers alive again --Hasdrubal would lose Spain and dies attempting to join up with Hannibal. Mago dies of his wounds in Sicily when Hannibal is finally recalled to Carthage.
How do you get rid of a jealous sister?
* It's quite common for one sibling to be jealous of the other. It could be that one sibling is older; gets more attention from one or both of the parents; perhaps you feel she's prettier; she may be popular and have more dates than you or, you feel things come too easy for her. What appears to be and what actually is the truth are two different things. Instead of being jealous of your sister try forming a closer friendship together so that you can communicate to each other on a better level and perhaps discuss dating or just have some fun together. If you don't think this is possible at the present time, one day you'll both grow up and things will come full circle where you will become friends.
Do sisters have to be nice to each other?
I certainly recommend it. Someday your parents will die, and your sister will be the closest family you have. Also if someone won't take you because you lost your job and lost your home she might be your best bet.
How do you know what kind of twins they are?
Genetic testing is the only way to positively identify what type of twins you are having.
Identical or monozygotic (MZ) twins occur when a single egg is fertilized to form one zygote (hence, "monozygotic") which then divides into two separate embryos.
Half-identical or semi-identical twins (also referred to as "half twins") are the result of a very rare form of twinning in which the twins inherit exactly the same genes from their mother but different genes from their father.
Fraternal or dizygotic (DZ) twins (also referred to as "non-identical twins" and in cases of females, occasionally sororal twins) usually occur when two fertilized eggs are implanted in the uterus wall at the same time. When two eggs are independently fertilized by two different sperm cells, fraternal twins result.
I am Waliyha Zayn Malik's sister and Zayn loves his hair to bits. He gels it up every hour. My other siblings are Safaa and Doniya. Doniya is older than me but I am older than Safaa. Doniya thinks she's all 'it' and Safaa is a big-mouth who just talks! If you see Ismael Khan who's 18 tell him I love him! I also fancy Louis from my brother's gang ONE DIRECTION! 1D LOVES ME!
Why do parents love the youngest sibling the most?
As a mother of 3 beautiful angels i can say that i have no preferance to either of my children. yes, i treat them different because i love them in different ways but my love is still indefinite towards them.
What ways are to stop annoying brothers?
Engage him in some activity.
Another answer:- A technique which is certainly popular in many movies and TV series is bribery. The offer of an ice cream, money for the cinema or some other treat generally seems to work. Remember though that once you start bribing you'll probably find that your little bother will deliberatly annoy you everytime he is short of money or wants an ice cream.
How do you deal with your sister?
What do you do when your annoyed with siblings?
You use a lot of patience. Unfortunately, you're not the parent so you can't really discipline. Unless you are authorized by your parent's to do so and backed up by your parents, discipline from you will probably result in further brattiness.
Even though you aren't a parent, it couldn't hurt to use some parenting techniques that aren't discipline, more like psychology. An important element in affecting children's behavior is how you react to it.
Parenting rule number one: Catch them being good. In other words, save your visible reactions for when they're doing something right and respond accordingly. Show as little reaction as possible when they are being bad. If they need to be removed from a difficult (aggravating) situation, do it kindly but firmly. If you want them out of your room, for example, and they don't respond to verbal instruction, do not yell; gently but firmly, without showing anger, take their two shoulders and move them out of the room. At first you'll have to repeat over and over, ask, ask, move. If you always use this technique, they'll begin to take you seriously when you do ask. They'll know what to expect.
Parenting rule number two: Show by example. You can't expect them to stop yelling, taunting, teasing, or touching your things if you sometimes do it yourself. Never respond to any of these annoyances in kind, no matter how much you feel like it. Deal with each of these behaviors using the behavior that you'd like them to use.
Parenting rule number three: Listen to what they have to say. Even if they start by yelling, hurling accusations, etc., if you stop what you're doing to actually talk to them about THEIR problems, they'll be far more likely to listen when you tell them that you're having a problem (even when the problem is them).
Another helpful thing that you can do is read all about it. If your parents have a book or two on child development and what to expect at different stage of a child's development. For instance, once you know things like the stages of curiosity that children go through to learn about the world around them, you will begin to see the things that they do, like pulling apart your favorite bracelet, in a whole new light. If your parents don't have this kind of books, there is a lot of child development info on the internet or at the library.
Why do siblings resemble each other?
Because they share a number of genes in common.
That's correct, people all get a set amount of chromosomes from their father, and a set amount from their mother.
Chromosomes determine what you look like, and because you share chromosomes with your parents, you're more than likely going to look like them.
How do you make your older sister like you?
Ask your sister what makes them happy. If they are not speaking to you, try trial and error. Take them to places. Give them gifts. Do anything that you can and see their reaction to your gestures. You're bound to find out what makes them happy.
Can you get custody of your younger sibling?
YES!!! The court has to be satisfied that the parents are in fact unstable, and that you can provide adequate care for the sibling. Maybe. There are two options available for petitioning a court for the custody of any minor regardless of the relationship. First, notifying the state's department offamily and children's services and request an investigation into the circumstances of the parental home environment. If DFS/CPS finds the complaint valid a date for a court hearing will be set and the parents and all interested parties will be allowed to present their evidence and prove their case. If the outcome is the minor child/children are to be removed from the home for their well-being, the court will appoint a guardian, this is generally a family member whom the court deems acceptable. The second option is for the adult sibling to file a petition requesting to be appointed the guardian of the minor child/children. The person filing the petition will be required to pay all filing and court fees and all applicable legal costs. Any person who can show "just cause" such as parents, grandparents, counselors and so forth why the person applying for guardianship should or should not be granted the request will be notified by the court and be allowed to testify. Be advised that in most states legal representation will be required for the person filing for guardianship. The best option is for the interested party to obtain legal advice on the validity of the action they are wishing to pursue.
If a mother and daughter have babies by same man but neither marry him how are the children related?
Because the children have the same mother but different fathers, they are half-siblings (half brothers or half sisters, depending on their sex).
But because their different fathers are brothers, they are also first cousins, and each child's father is uncle to the other child.
Both relationships apply at the same time, but it is usually easier to use the closest of the possible relationships, so they will usually be thought of as half-siblings.
What are the customs of the Jewish religion?
Some traditions in Judaism are to go to synagogue and celebrate holidays.
If you could break this down into a more detailed question, like "traditions of Marriage," "Traditions of prayer...." etc. it would be easier to answer.
Answer 2
Though it may have an associated culture and one or more associated languages, the traditional definition of Judaism is the observance of the Torah, which is why dictionaries define Judaism as "the religion of Moses." In this sense, the word "Torah" is meant in its wider meaning, which includes the Tanakh, the Talmud, and other classical Jewish texts.
The philosophy of Judaism is that this world is a purposeful creation by God, in which all people are tested concerning their use of free-will. We possess a soul which lives on after the body dies and is held responsible for the person's actions. Anyone who is worthy, Jewish or not, can merit reward in the afterlife.
Some examples of the commands:
Belief in God
Putting on Tefillin (phylacteries) in the morning
The sukkah-booth during Sukkot
Avoiding leavened products in Passover
Keeping kosher
Not eating on Yom Kippur
Not working on the Shabbat
Paying workers on time
Marital rights for one's wife
The Ten Commandments
Helping someone who is in danger
Counting the days of the Omer
Returning lost objects when feasible
Wearing the tzitzith-garment
Affixing a mezuzah to the door
Learning Torah
Marrying and having children
Educating one's children in Judaism
Giving tzedakah (charity)
Honoring one's parents
And many more.
The laws have various reasons. Some (such as the Passover) serve to reenact or remember events of our history.
Some (such as saying the Shema-prayer) serve to reiterate our belief in God.
Some of the laws (such as those of ritual purity and kosher food) serve to sanctify us.
Some (such as the laws of torts) serve to maintain an orderly and just society.
Some (such as the law against breaking a vow) serve to prevent bad character traits.
Some (such as the command to offer help) serve to engender good character traits.
And all of the commands serve to subjugate us to God's will (especially those commands for which no explanation is easily apparent).
Note that the Torah "as is" isn't exactly what Judaism observes. Rather, It's the Torah together with the details provided in the Talmud, which is the Oral Law that was handed down together with the laws of Moses. Otherwise, the verses of the Torah often lack enough detail to be fulfilled as is.
How do you get rid of annoying sisters?
see what they want from you, they might just want to hang out with you, so, assure them that youll hang out with them later if you can just get some alone time. In the end make sure they know you love them O_o
just try that My parents had three daughters in the span of 4 years. We are now all grown, all three are mothers (and aunts and sisters-in-law) and our parents have long ago died of old age. We grew up with a fierce dedication to mutual destruction (by any available means). Our efforts were no mere hobby. No opportunity was missed to drive each other as crazy as was in our power.) I suspect we were most successful at driving our parents crazy!) I will tell you that neither now nor Ever will I love, trust, value or treasure any women in my life more than I do my two sisters. I know it must be difficult for you to believe now, but in time, your sister will represent to you "a price above rubies".
A sibling family is where the children live together without parents. The eldest child manages the household.
Why is your family so important to you?
They are as important as the air Ii breathe the and more important that any thing or one! They are also essential for the future and survival of mankind and the human race!.

What is the best way to get revenge on an abusive narcissist?
I don't know if this qualifies as revenge, but after I was completely duped and used, I was angry for months and months. Of course, I had tried to think of anything to get back 'at hear' for how she treated me. However, since I'm not 'like her' and my mind doesn't work that way, I surrendered. But, I'm gifted musician and lyricist, so I wrote a song, recorded all the instruments myself, mass copied it, left out names and spread it all over the city. And she thought I was her inferior! :-) No doubt I got the last word. It was the sweetest revenge I could get for myself - and it is funny, funny, funny. Humilating for her. :-)
AnswerNarcissists thrive on the controlling the emotions of the person that they are with. They can be very cruel and do things to hurt your feelings intentionally. When you don't show any pain or anger and show indifference towards things they do or say to you, they get very bewildered and get mad because you are not mad! I went through this and more in my narcissistic relationships. I felt like it was revenge on them when I didn't give them the reaction they wanted to see. My ultimate revenge is ending the relationship!! I just ended a relationship with a narcissist. He was a user, very unhappy and played on my emotions all the time! I did everything I could to make him happy; emotionally, financially, physically and he was never satisfied and caused me so much pain. Now that it is over, he is begging for a second chance, promising that he will change. HE WONT. AnswerDon't show any emotions when he attacks you emotional and verbally. He will become enraged when you do not react the way he wants you to. When I finally realized I was just a mere pawn in his narcissist world I quietly disappeared from his world. Its called No Contact. It was the best thing I ever did. I later found out on the grapevine that he went on a rampage to find me, even three years later. AnswerYes there is, when he dumps you and tells you something to make you feel bad, which he will, don't cry, plead or act like it bothers you. Dont act like you are overly happy either, just say okay i understand and now i can get on with my life. At first, they wont belive you, but once you don't call them AT ALL and act like its not a big deal..........they will wonder what the hell happened to such an easy source of control.....once that control is gone they will expereince distressing emotions......that's the best revenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck......i just got dumped by one three days ago. AnswerThe best revenge is living well. Be happy, be peaceful, be successful, be gorgeous!!! and do it for yourself not to show off to him. No matter how hard you have to work to get there. Make it look effortless. Remember - you can't out psycho a psycho and you can't hurt someone who has defenses that would make the Marines proud. Hasn't he/she wasted enough of your time already? AnswerInteresting you should say Marines. I had an N at work obsessed with the institution. Just kept bragging on how honorable, strong and masuline he was since he is a Marine. He claimed he was enilsted in the USMC for twenty years. I already knew he had left the corps after only two years to join the airforce which he resigned from as well. He didnt have what it takes. Marines are real men, have real confidence and protect those weaker than them. A Narcisssitic Marine is an oxymoron. N's defenses are hard but very thin. Underneath is a coward that would bring shame to the United States Marines. Its all a smoke screen designed to make you believe they are something they never will be.Yes the best revenge is living well for yourself just like the previous posts advise. Ignore him no matter what he say or does. Just speak to him only occasionally with thinly veiled politeness. Do not show them any emotion or feeling. because they have none of their own, they like to play with yours. Do not let him fool you into believeing he can "read your thoughts". They really can't. But by intimidating you into believing it's so its only then you give your self away.
One more thing - if you still have to associate with him on a day to day routine (work, school, etc.) You can make vauge references to a particular lie that you are on to him about. Say some little thing everyday. He will still deny it. But it weakens him and he will become scared of you because he is afraid you can see him for the sick liar he really is.
Answer
Well I got revenge (although not so proud of it). My hubby of 10 years has had multiple affairs. He used to tell me all the time how he WORKED SOOOOO HARD to provide for me and the children. He could not possibly be up to no good. So of course I said "sure dear your right im just being paranoid". Then I hired someone to find out for me. Not only was he having sex off the highway to and and from his job, he was also having sex in the PARKING LOT OF HIS JOB. So one day he came home and was telling yet again that I was crazy for doubting him blah blah blah... as he was talking I just started playing the tape. When he heard himself moaning and groaning on tape the expression on his face was priceless. Shocked and confused he played the "I wanna commit suicide card" and tried to force me to stab him with a knife. So I filed a restraining order against him and got temporary custody of my kids until he gets help for his problems.... lol In the meantime I played all my video and audio tapes for my family and his family.... ahhhhh good times had by all!!!!!!! lol But on a serious note. I was devastated. I hurt everyday but refuse to let him know. He has fallen back to being a recluse out of embarrassment he will soon be over that.... can't let reality stop his narcissistic ways.... lol
What do you do when your sister thinks you hate her?
Deep down, it isn't possible you hate your sister. Hate is a strong word. If you find your sibling annoying, then you can tell them how you feel and how you would like them to stop. If this doesn't work, try telling your parents about it. Remember, you can't hate a sibling, since they are one of your closest friends in life- annoying at times or not. *All siblings can be annoying at times*
