Mild Eczema just looks red, perhaps a little inflamed. Most of the skin is super dry anyway (imagine when it's cold and you get chapped lips. Like that, but everywhere). Then it gets scaly (the skin starts to flake) and it becomes a brighter red.

You might also gets little bumps, like goosebumps. Serious Eczema shows scarlet marks on the skin, physical scratches, major scaling and open/possibly infected wounds. Once it gets to this point, you'll probably end up with scars.

The redness in the skin in a sunburn is caused by the dilation of small blood vessels called capillaries in the skin. When the skin is damaged there is an inflammatory response that occurs, like other injuries to the body. There is a release of histamine to the skin that is the start of the inflammatory process. I come up with bumps that itch, if i scratch them they stop itching. They are over my back, & appaer on my legs at times. It is leaving scars. I have used soov powder & pinersol, it does ease the itch but deosn'e stop it all together.

Good products for this include Monistat or Lamisil powder or lotion.

It helps to dry it out.

no as long as you sterilize the tool used i.e. fingers and sterilize afterwards. rubbing alcohol works nicely. but only pop those things as a last resort, use pink grapefruit neutrogena and you wont have many pimples to pop. and drink coconut water

I just had a bicycle accident, and my top lip is very swollen. It has been at least 24 hours, and the swelling is still there, but it has gone down. It should take a few days to be 100% normal again. But, in at least a day or two, nobody should notice it. Good luck!

Do NOT scratch you legs! It will make cause scabs and will be horrible! Try wrapping wet flannels around them and securing it with Sellotape -- Trust me it works! It soothes the itch and makes it all better! Just don't scratch them!
