The Alias 2 can do so many things! I don't exactly have the phone yet....but I am getting it next month. It has technology called E-inc. What on earth is E-inc? Well I'll tell ya! It is something that when you press a button the keyboard magically changes. For example...if you have the qwerty keyboard out and you need a symbol, press the button!(the button is located on the bottom left side all the way in the corner.) But what I felt was a little bit awkward about this phone is that the send (or should I say "ok" button) is all the way at the top...if it is in the sideway mode. But that really isn't a big deal. This phone could also search the Web. You could go on youtube, aim, msn messenger, yahoo, however, you cant go on G-mail and I think that kinda sucked, even though i don't have an account for that. Also another thing that kinda sucked is that when you go on youtube, it doesn't respond that well. I was watching Celluar Cloe ( she reviews phones) on google and she made a video about the Alias 2. She totally rocks...(just saying) Anyways she was showing the veiwers the youtube and all she got was a blinking video that didnt work. I heard that aim, msn messenger, and yahoo work pretty well though. Also, dont get your hopes up because I am not sure on this one, I think you could check your email. However, this Web is not free. I believe you have to pay $5 a month....which is not a lot so I think it's worth it to download. The screen is really really big, so i liked that a lot. I do think that the phone is quite large, if you go onwww.verizonwireless.com they show you the size and everything that comes with it. What also kind of bugged me is that you need a special type of headphone for the Alias 2, unlike the Motorola Rival, which is also a really good phone. I think its some kind of bluetooth thing, but I don't really kn ow for sure. I like that when you text you get a smily face feature...that's always a favorite...I also liked how long the battery life is. My freind has the Alias 2 and the battery life lasted really long. And no, its not true if you heard the rumor that the Alias 2's battery could last for fourteen days strait....just pointing that out. I don't know what the Verizon viewers are saying that the battery life is short, but that's probally because they treat it like a psp. Anyways, the phone is a litte bit heavier than the original Alias, but that is also a thing that doesn't really matter.
