No, Stephen King does not play a cameo role in Misery. It would have been very difficult to fit him in, since the entire story has only four or five characters and it all takes place in one house.
In the U.K., it is rated 15. In the U.S., it is rated TV-14 (it was a made-for-TV movie), and there is also an Unrated version.

Is the Rose Red mansion still standing?
No, Rose Red is NOT a real mansion, although Stephen King got the idea from a real mansion and a real woman: Sarah Winchester, and the Winchester Mystery House. It is important to note that no one has ever been killed or gone missing in the Winchester Mystery House. See the Related Links.
The production company of the mini-series and the authors of both books that it is based on (Stephen King's Rose Red; and Ridley Pearson's Diary of Ellen Rimbauer: My Life At Rose Red) have worked incredibly hard to dupe you. I thought it was real for the longest time and know some very credible people who also thought it was fact.
The truth is their are no such people as John and Ellen Rimbauer nor is there a great maneating house on Spring Street in Seattle, WA. The house used in the mini-series is called Thornwood Castle. The university which Joyce Reardon supposedly teaches at is also fake as is she. There is a rather authentic looking Beaumont University Website, but it too is a FAKE! This rather elaborate setup is debunked in completion in the HistoryLink article (again, see the Related Links).
I agree. No one has been killed or gone missing in the Winchester house, but you might bump into a wall, stairways that go into the ceiling, corners, and doors that go straight down. She was quite a eccentric lady! Some say the death of her husband and child drove her insane. She spent her life trying to contact them in seances while adding on rooms to the house. I still question if she was insane to begin with, and their deaths made her worse. She left behind a great tourist attraction!

Why did Stephen King make IT a clown?
Because clowns are supposed to be fun and happy. Making something happy like that scary adds a certain degree of antithesis and irony to the situation.
IT is not just a clown, IT is fear itself. The main form of IT is a clown though.
What part did Stephen King play in the movie IT?
I don't believe he had a cameo appearance in IT (1990). First of all, he is not listed on the imdb (Internet Movie Database) entry for the movie, in the "Full Cast & Crew" section. Second, there is a website (see the Related Link below) which lists all the cameos he has done, and IT is not listed on that page. And third, I've seen IT several times myself; the last time was just a few months ago, so I'm fairly certain I would remember if he was in it.
Who is the girlfriend of Stephen mulhern?
The rumor is that Stephen Mulhern has been seen with Emma Barton. They have been rumored to be dating for a few months now, but they have not officially made an announcement yet.
Where does Stephen King get his ideas for his books?
I get my ideas from everywhere. But what all of my ideas boil down to is seeing maybe one thing, but in a lot of cases it's seeing two things and having them come together in some new and interesting way, and then adding the question 'What if?' 'What if' is always the key question.

What is the ending to the green mile?
The big black prisoner they so cared for is released secretly accompanied by guards because of his healing powers so he can heal the Warden's wife (I suspect she has cancer or a mental disorder of sorts) and does. Then he has to come back to prison and is electrocuted much to the digust of the Warden and guards who have grown to love him. They know he has special powers, is innocent of killing the two little white girls (was trying to heal them when he found them) and know that a special person's life was taken away from them. Near the end the black prisoner said words to the effect he was losing his healing powers because his spirit was weary and didn't fear death because he knew he was innocent. The prison guards knew things would never be the same again. Oh yes, the prison guard that was cruel ended up with a white jacket strapped around him. Nice ending as far as I was concerned. LOL Great movie!

Pennywise (the dancing clown) was a character in Stephen King's IT -a book, later a film. He first appears in 1740, removing 300 people from a Derry township. It was destroyed in 1985 (apparently) by the second Ritual of Chud.
The book implies that just as there was a creator of things, and the Turtle, so there was also a destroyer of things, as there is always a balance. This is what Pennywise is.
Oscar winner Kathy Bates resides in Hancock Park, Los Angeles. Bates lived in Hollywood Hills for many years but sold her mansion to actor Jon Cryer before moving to the elite Hancock. No, Stephen does not seem to be gay. He has only dated women, at least publicly.
Does the Ellen Rimbauer mansion still stand?
There is no Ellen Rimbauer mansion. Ellen Rimbauer is a fictional character from Stephen King's Rose Red. She is not a real person, and never was a real person.
The Winchester Mansion in California is the real life mansion that gave Stephen King the idea. Sarah Winchester's husband invented the Winchester rifle; Sarah became convinced that the ghosts of the people killed by her husband's gun were haunting her, and would not stop haunting her unless she built a great big house for them. She believed that as long as she continued building the mansion, the ghosts would let her live. Since the "ghosts" told her how to build the house, it was constructed using some very kooky building plans. It has staircases that lead to nowhere, shelves that are 11 inches deep and therefore useless, another staircase that is nine feet high with steps two inches high, and many other oddities. See the Related Link below for more information about the Winchester Mystery House, as it is called.
And yes, the Winchester Mystery House is still standing.
he was in the bathroom and slipped and he cut his neck on the sink, lost too much blood, and died

What kind of program and computer does Stephen King use to write?
The web site STEPHEN KING (dot) COM allows you to take a virtual tour of Stephen's office. There, on his virtual desk, you'll see an iMAC computer. So I'm assuming he uses an iMAC in real life too.
