Where is the best place to go on holiday that isn't like burning hot but is enough to get a tan?

For the summer, if you live close to it go to the jersy shore.

Thursdays on the beach is free, and ride bracelets are pretty cheap. The boardwalk is fantastic and they have tons of motels at affordable prices.

I go there for about a week every year.

In the summer it's not grossly hot, and it's the perfect weather to tan on the beach or by the pool side.

Tanning Without The Sun?

Airbrush tanning is a safe alternative to lying out in the sun. Teenagers have begun to receive their tans with an airbrush solution instead of torturing their bodies in the hot summer sunlight. Airbrush techniques are easy and don't create the tan lines or uneven coverage that other methods of tanning offer. There are no artificial lights associated with airbrushing so the skin is not dried out as it is when lying in a tanning bed.

Which is better sunbed or spray tan?

I'm gonna have to say neither, but if you really want the better of the two go with the sunbed. some recent studies have shown that sunbeds are as close as you can get to real sun exposure. the most important thing when using a tanning bed is to make sure the tanning store has natural tanners without harsh chemicals.

Choose Your Tanning Lotion Wisely?

There are many great tanning lotions available from many different resources, but which one you choose to use depends on your particular skin, preferences and where you are getting your tan from. If you are just looking for a tan but don't care to go to a tanning booth or stay out in the sun, buy a tanning lotion that will gradually bronze your skin for a tanned appearance. If you go to a tanning booth, you will need to purchase a lotion from the salon or from a beauty supply store that sells tanning lotions that are compatible with the acrylic base of most tanning beds.

Is suntanning okay to do at the beach with no bikini top on and just being naked on the top half?

Assuming the beach is "clothing optional" and you wont be cited/arrested for indecent exposure? Yes.

Otherwise if you're worried about getting skin cancer on your breasts, taking the same precautions as on the rest of your body helps. And of course if you already have a tan and just want to get rid of tan lines, keep in mind your maximum exposure time will be lower for the lighter skin making your breasts more suceptible to sunburn.

Does temperature or time of year affect tanning?

Does temperature or time of year affect tanning time?

Why is there no such thing as a healthy tan?

Its not the tan that's healthy or not healthy that's your own opinion. too much tan can be bad depending on how long you spent in the sun to get it. The UV rays that cause tanning are also accompanied by U.V.B rays and they can cause 2 different types of skin cancer, melanoma and nonmelanoma, strokes can be caused but its those 2 cancers you need to worry about. and before you ask sun cream blocks out the U.V.B rays only! and it depends how much you put on. sun bathing is good because the UV rays cause your skin to produce vitamin D which has a host of salubrious benefits, including the maintenance of normal blood levels of phosphorus and calcium and the promotion of healthy bones.
