If you actually tan, you can mix iodine and baby oil together and rub it or spray it on you. Family secret and it works wonders! Just mix until the oil looks light pink.

Make sure you allow your tan to dry so stand in front of a fan or stand still for up to 15 minutes, wear loose/baggy clothing ( black) , no bra or knickers to prevent lines, shower up to 8-10 hours after your tan and try to have short showers/baths and do no scrub or use that much shower gel etc, just wash off and come out, do not rub skin with the towel instead dab it dry with the towel and remember to moisturise quite regularly to pro long the spray tan, whenever you have showers use moisturising cream, or morning and afternoon do so!

Use Baiden Mitten to exfoliate a day before you get spray tanned. Because Baiden Mitten removes almost all of the dead skin layer, it will take a while for the dead skin layer to build up, so you will not only keep your spray tan longer, but also it will fade evenly, not in patches. Using the mitt will on average double the life of your spray tan.

Yes, you can still get a tan wearing sunscreen, and it's much safer than tanning bare. Use a moderately powerful sun tan lotion (minimum of spf 30) for safety. As Dark Dragon pointed out, it IS much safer using a tanning spray or lotion. There are fantastic lotions out there that, over time while using it, will gradually increase the melonin in your skin (the skin pigment that determines skin color -- the more you got the darker you'll be) without the premature aging and wrinkles that sun tanning can cause.

DON'T - I know of someone who dies at age 30 to skin cancer! Try at home self tanners ora spray on salon and SUNSCREEN!

Firstly you said "dies", past tence, it should be died. Secondly people don't die at 30, that's just dumb because of the sun, unless they over did it and bake themselves, and well in that case they deserve it. You can tan with fair skin, but just in small amounts and with lots of suntan cream. You would need to put on sun tan cream every hour of so, otherwise your skin will become red. If at any point it becomes red you have to rest out and wait for it to go down, this could take a few days. If the red skin becomes dry and itchy then you would need to see your doctor. But that's good because then you would know that you need to put on more suntan cream next time.

If you are unsuccessful then just use fake tan to spray over the red skin, but you will need to spry a lot on. that WILL get the red to a brown, its only downside is that its annoying because you cannot put it on before you start tanning or during because it will have a negative affect with the sun ran cream. This method does work, try it yourself.

It is not good to tan too long but indoor tanning is more effective but outdoor is more safe.

Whether it's a tanning bed or outside in the sun... MODERATION is the key. When you burn, you put your skin at risk for future problems. Slow exposure and not burning will give you the tan you're looking for with the minimum about of risk. There are several unbiased studies that show that tanning in moderation provides Vitamin D and other physical and emotional benefits that people in northern climates (less sun in winter) are lacking.

Urinate on the tanned area 3 - 5 times a day and it will slowly be treated, do this during a period of 1 - 2 days.

Keeping your body moist while tanning will help you get a darker tan. also if you have access to an outdoor pool, or go to the beach, tanning on a mattress in the water will help too because the sun reflects off the water.

I don't know about sun exposure, but I do know how poison ivy works, which may help. When an allergic person comes in contact with the powders or oils of the plant, he/she begins to have a reaction. As long as the oil or powder remains on the skin, the rash can spread and worsen.

Upon exposure or possible exposure to the plant, the allergic person should shower with soap and hot water to be sure all oils/powders are gone. Then, the healing process can begin, which takes about 7-10 days.

If the affected person has showered thoroughly, I would imagine the already sensitive rash is not responding well to heat or sunburn, hense the worsening of symptoms. Get out of the sun!
