President Obama supervised the operation that finally killed Osama Bin Laden, and as Commander in Chief, he also supervised the missions that killed a number of the top Al Qaeda leaders. Whether people like his economic policies or not, there is little doubt that when it comes to protecting America, he has kept this country safe; it is obvious that he is opposed to terrorism.

The single most effective way to fight terrorism

GET OFF OIL! If we get off oil, then we:

1. deprive the corrupt regimes of the Middle East of the money they need to stave off reform, money they and their subjects sometimes use to aid terrorism.

2. end the presumed need for our soldiers to be in Muslim countries with oil reserves, countries whose citizens resent us deeply for our interference. (In fact, when it comes to oil, our presence in the Middle East has made it harder, not easier for us to get it.)

It was announced on Sunday, May 1, 2011 that Osama Bin Laden was killed by US troops on the ground in a firefight. He was killed by the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and four men, including Osama, died in the attack. No American was wounded or killed.

Osama was shot at least once in the head. The US has custody of his body. President Obama ordered the attack after receiving intelligence of bin Laden's location in a compound in Pakistan. The US first received this intelligence in August 2010. Bin Laden was the mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and has been in hiding for nearly a decade.
