Jerry and George are at a place called Pete's, and he tells George about a woman he met in Michigan, who is coming to New York. They talk about whether or not she has romantic intentions. The next evening, Jerry tells his neighbor Kessler (later called Kramer) that he may have misunderstood the situation with Laura. But then Lara calls and asks if she can stay overnight at his apartment. George and Jerry continue to debate the issue. While waiting at the airport for Laura to arrive, Jerry and George discuss the various greetings Lara might but when Laura arrives, her greeting is ambiguous. Upon arriving at Jerry's apartment Laura removes her shoes and some excess clothing to get comfortable, but they a phone call reveals that Laura is engaged. Jerry then realizes that he has no chance with Laura, but has already committed himself to an entire weekend with her.

The Office is a comedy series that ended its final 9th season in 2013. The series follows the lives of the employees at Dunder Mifflin, a paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
