Remove 2 plastic covers and 2 seat anchor bolts (14mm), then remove the seat half; Remove seat belt rubber cover and bolt (14mm); Slightly pull out the rear hatch rubber moulding to release 3 thin metal tab at the rear end of the panel from the moulding; Slightly pull out the side door rubber moulding to release a tape which hold the front end of the panel at the top; There are 2 plastic fastening pieces at the lower front of the panel that need to be pulled off. Now the panel can be pulled out at the bottom first, then pull up and out at the top to clear a series of metal hooks at the top of the panel. Installed in reverse order. dtn.

Drain it, and replace the filter (optional). Personally I use the dipstick tube to add it, as unscrewing it from the bottom and pumping it in is... overkill.

good question. mine goes off spontaneously, often in the middle of the night. if you remove the fuse, the power windows don't work.

Other possibilities could be one of the the accessory belt idler pulleys - either the one that connects to the accessory driveshaft bracket, or the one that connects to the A/C compressor bracket. If the bearing has gone bad, it would likely produce a chirping/squealing noise. Another thought is the accessory driveshaft coupling, which is a common problem in the Previa vehicles. It consists of two round, rubber pieces that act as a support/damper between the accessory driveshaft. The rubber eventually wears out and deteriorates, which will lead to noise and vibration. Another idea is the alternator ... have you checked that out to see if the chirping sound could be due to worn alternator bearings? Or if the belt tension is too tight, that could be putting more stress on the shaft and bearings, increasing the frequency/volume of noise. If you have a mechanic's stethoscope, it would come in handy for locating/diagnosing noises such as chirps, squeals, etc. Good luck!

The throttle position sensor is under the drivers seat. Pull the locking latch above the gas cap doors release( front left on drivers seat) it has a yellow colored rubber coating on it. Push the seat back out of the way and open the engine access hatch there under the carpet flap. Once its open and put aside out of the way you can look and see the throttle body. It has the air intake connected to the front (approx. 3" in diameter) and three small 1/4" vacuum hoses on top. On the right side of the throttle body you will find the throttle position sensor. It is fastened by two screws and has a wire connector with two wires attached to it. It is dome shaped and a black colored plastic material.

There are three nuts holding the strut to the body. Get access by removing panels under the dashboard. Getting a wrench or a socket to get to the nuts is a challenge. The wheel needs to come out, and a brake line needs to be disconnected. Replacing the strut itself requires a heavy duty spring compressor.

There is a little button or latch in the center of the cover underneath the rim. One needs to just feel under the edge and it is obvious when touching it. The cover also covers the two speakers if there is a multi-speaker stereo so it is easy to identify that way. As the first author said just lift up and back (the rear of the van) and it will come off directly.
If this is the same as a Tarago in Australia (and I think it is) then it is in the centre of the dash. To access it you need to lift the cover - there is a small lug above the heater controls - press this lug and the cover lifts up and there are the fuses.

The fuse box is on top of the dash in the centre. Gently prise the panel upwards from the front to reveal the many fuses etc.
